Greetings to everyone, especially those who have been close to me during these long months. It's been about 10 months since my third PMMA cycle. The infection seems latent if it's still present. Unfortunately, my skin is still inflamed and often burns. Sometimes it's bearable, other times I have to take ibuprofen and other anti-inflammatory medications. It's difficult to live peacefully with these discomforts. I've spoken to my wife, asking her several times what she thinks of my penis, and she keeps telling me that she likes the therapeutic Circumcision and its shape better than when I was uncircumcised. The shape has changed and she feels more pleasure, and I don't think it's due to the third round because I haven't gained much or anything significant when measured. It remained the same for 6 months, then I went back to the measurements after round 2. Sometimes when I'm in a lot of pain, I think about surgical Removal. Then I think about what I've been through and I gather my courage. The choice is to endure with my bigger but painful Dick, or try to remove as much as possible, hoping the pain and burning will go away. Unfortunately, in my case, this isn't a sure thing. The infection has attacked my entire Dick, and it's not certain that removing as much as possible will go away. I wanted to ask your opinion, forum users. Which option would you choose? Endure the pain with a bigger Dick than before, or try Removal? I've attached some photos from today while I was at the beach.

After 10 months I have ups and downs, I was fine for 9 days with little burning, now I've been without sleep for 3 days because of the burning, when I feel better I delude myself that it's healing but then it always comes back, it's hard to live like this, I'm resigning myself to the idea that my life will be like this, removing it is really complicated and the results could be a deformed penis, without Girth and if it goes badly the same burning as now, this bastard of a bacteria, enterococcus, is practically indestructible once it settles, if it has attached itself to the PMMA it will never go away, I heard that at least it's not very virulent like Areus or other staphylococci, I think that when the burning increases it is trying to go away and inflames everything until the immune system reacts and blocks it again it's a constant battle every day, in August I have a new consultation with the Urologist to talk about being able to try a course of antibiotics when the situation is too serious to be tolerated, unfortunately these are bacteria resistant to antibiotic treatments and there is no guarantee that the situation will improve.

I would say endure it. If you look at atxguy and the silicone oil he had which gave him a bunch of nodules, I would take that over going to see a bunch of specialists to try to remove it and then trying to reconstruct it.

I remember alias9 had an infection as well but nothing as serious as what you're describing. Would exercise have no effect on boosting your immune system? I'm surprised there's no antibiotic treatment for this and your body just wouldn't fight off the infection?

But yeah removal never really worked out for any user not atxguy or another user I believe called.LouSkunt

With all due respect, and I get where you're coming from, but from a medical perspective, had he not had the silicone removed, it would have continued to cause increasingly severe problems as it continued to migrate, including liver and/or kidney damage and failure. Men have died from these silicone injections. It's simply not a matter of choosing aesthetics over comfort, unfortunately.

I have PMMA, not silicone, and I wanted to ask your opinion. Have you ever had patients with post-PMMA infections? I'd like to know how they were treated. I've had all sorts of tests done in recent months, and I don't have any abnormal liver or kidney values. I don't know if PMMA can cause serious problems like silicone. I had no problems before the third cycle, when I got infected. Unfortunately, my skin has always remained inflamed, and on some days the burning is difficult to bear. I just want to feel better.

I'm so sorry you're going through this right now. First, are you positive it was PMMA you were injected with? You may have mentioned it elsewhere and I missed it, but who did you go to for the 3rd round? Also, have you had any cultures done to find out what kind of infection you have? I'll discuss your case with Dr. Carney when he's in-office tomorrow and get you answers to all your questions. As far as I know, PMMA generally doesn't cause the kind of problems you're experiencing, but Dr. Carney would know much better than I would since he sees and treats this stuff all the time. Hang in there!

Thanks for sharing that! It will be later today once Dr. Carney gets out of surgery before I can talk to him, but I'll definitely let you know what he says.

Dr. Carney said he suggests trying a Medrol dose pack, which is a 7-day supply of a steroid. If that doesn't work, the next step would be some sort of steroid injection directly into the penis. Definitely no more antibiotics. You're most likely experiencing a bad inflammatory response, so the steroids should help with that. We want to start with the oral steroids because we don't want to inject anything directly into the penis unless necessary. If the oral steroids don't help, there may be some more of the bacteria hiding out deep down there and the injection can get further in to get to it if that's the case.

If you have any more questions, you're more than welcome to schedule a free phone consult with us, or Dr. Carney will be back in the office this Friday so I can try to catch him again then. Best of luck to you with this, and I hope you start feeling better very soon!

I sincerely thank you and Dr. Carney for your time. Unfortunately, I live in Europe, otherwise I would have come to you for a consultation. If it's not a problem, I kindly ask if we can speak via email. My English is terrible, and the situation is very complicated. I'd like to understand the entire process. Could you please send me an email address so I can contact you privately or a phone number via WhatsApp so I can use the translator. I'll speak with the Urologist who's treating me about this treatment. I have a follow-up on August 7th, but unfortunately, he has no experience with PMMA. Thank you so much.

This is a photo of my penis today, it's not as perfect as it was after the second round, I have some asymmetrical areas on the left,
I wanted to know if it's very evident?
