This will be my last update for a while and I’m going to take a break from the board. I find myself obsessing over things a bit too much even more than I did before I started this journey and I just need a break . I’ll sign into my account for the next week to check PMs if anyone wants to ask additional questions or stay in contact.
In summary I started this journey in March of 2021 with 10 ml of Juvéderm Voluma and then had 3 additional treatments in May, June, July and October of that same year for a total of 40 mls. In hindsight I was completely good to go after round 2. More on this in a bit . I went from 7 x 4.5 to 7 x 5.75 . All of this was with
@Rejuvall
I wasn’t happy at all with the way the filler broke down over the next year and had a touchup in May of 2022 with 5 more mls of juvederm voluma. It helped a little bit with aesthetics. But then it broke down in the same spot again and I needed another touch up in 2023 with 5 mls of revanesse versa . I was very pleased with the aesthetic at this point but the feel remained quite soft. So in December of 2023 I had 10 ml of volux in an attempt to firm things up. It did firm me up temporarily and put me over 6” of girth but again over time it became quite soft. This was with
@Dr_Sullivan
Also, at that size and without very rigid erections it wasn’t great for my sex life.
So in the summer of 2024 I started to dissolve the filler. I did 2 sessions of dissolving with a local dermatologist. She did a total of 12 vials of hyaluronidase but it did little to break down the filler. I do not believe she placed the enzyme in the proper plane and consequently it had little impact. I then had 10 vials of hyaluronidase with Dr Sullivan and the impact was dramatic. It significantly reduced in size, however I had 2 large nodules at the base that I had dissolved by Dr Carney in September of 2024. The HA responded quite well to the hyaluronidase.
So in total I had 60 mls of filler over a 3 year period . Then I had 26 vials of hyaluronidase over four sessions to dissolve it. I would realistically say I had 14 vials because the local dermatologist didn’t know what she was doing. My goal is to revert back to my original penis but I honestly don’t know if this is even doable . I also suspect my skin is permanently slightly thicker due to the collagen and elastin that was left behind - which I’m happy about. I think I need at least one or two more rounds of hyaluronidase to be completely back at my baseline .
Here are a couple things I learned through this process:
1. HA was great at first but I went overboard. No one’s fault but my own. I would advise only modest gains with HA limited to roughly 1/2 inch of girth or 3/4 inch if you want to maintain firmness . It is meant to enhance your penis but not ENLARGE it. As someone in a non monogamous relationship I had a couple play partners ask if I was “ born that way”. In other words it was obvious to them something was up! This never happened when I had my initial two rounds. It was detectable to me but not to a partner .
2. I tried to correct aesthetic irregularities with more and more filler. This was a mistake! The beauty of HA is that you can melt it! If you have some out of place you should be patient and definitely try dissolving before adding more.
3. I came to really appreciate HA after realizing how easy it is to correct (as long as the person who does it knows what they’re doing!) . You read a story every now and then about pmma or ellanse and horror stories of silicon and it makes me very grateful my situation is easily fixed (other than the logistics). Luckily I stuck to providers endorsed here who are both highly ethical.
4. Only have it dissolved by someone who’s an expert in phalloplasty. Otherwise you’re likely wasting your time and money !
5. This is the most important piece of advice I can give everyone. I see a lot of guys (I was one) who thought “I’ll do this HA and then I’ll dissolve it all or when it goes away I’ll do pmma or Ellanse “. It is not that simple! I truly believe that for every round of HA you’ve had you’ll need at least that many rounds of dissolving and an equal number of syringes of hyaluronidase. It is also hard to find a practitioner willing to dissolve it in large quantities . So if you’re having HA you should treat it as semi permanent and know that dissolving it takes a great deal of effort and money. It also lasts much longer than advertised (which is good and bad).
6. Dr Carney and Dr Sullivan are both first class. If I lived closer to a qualified practitioner this would be soooo much easier .
So where do I go from here? I do plan to dissolve the remaining filler. I miss feeling how hard my erections get naturally. If I had to estimate I’d say I lost very little of the original 40 mls I received but I think it most definitely broke down and became softer . It also did migrate some into the frenulum (most likely because I overfilled it!). I’d say right now I have roughly 1/3 of the filler remaining. Maybe a bit less . I’m curious based on the pics I posted how much you guys would estimate I have left.
My journey is not over - far from it
I plan to start the p long protocol to max out my length and possibly add a little girth in 2025. I mainly think it benefits EQ - I’m skeptical I’ll see any growth but I’m convinced it’s very healthy for your penis and performance. I was planning to explore phalback but I got a refund after they did a 180 on their marketing. So p long it is in 2025 !
Would I do this all again? Yes. I may start all over in a year or two but be smarter about it. I would just not get so fixated on it and keep my gains more modest . All of this was paid for by some very lucky crypto trades I made back in 2021 so I don’t feel guilty about this from a financial standpoint. If I start over with new filler in 2026 I’ll be more mindful of the investment I’m making and I will keep my gains modest . I know for a fact being in the lifestyle that a big dick is not necessary to please a woman. Is it attractive? Yes . Is it more pleasurable? All things being equal it is marginally more pleasurable to women but they adapt very quickly to the new size and then it’s not different . As Dr Sullivan told me- it really is just supposed to be fun !
As I said I’ll check in on my account the next week but then I’m taking 2025 off.
