No, he doesn’t supply a weight to help keep you stretched. Post op instructions are below.
“Swelling, bruising, and/or tenderness in the groin area is to be expected following treatment but will be very minor. Most patients return to their regular activities in approximately one to two days. Rarer side effects include bumps, lumps, or skin irregularities at the injection site(s). We recommend avoiding heavy lifting, intense workouts, and sexual intercourse for seven days. While most patients see immediate results, the outcome of the procedure will continue to get even better over the course of about 18-25 months.
Massage, massage, massage. We advise that you try to massage the product and work it into the tissue as much as possible for the following 7-10 days after the procedure. This should be done in both a
Flaccid and
Erect state. This is going to be the most important in the 72 hours post-procedure, but can be done as long as needed in order to achieve a more even result.
Discomfort and/or swelling may extend into the groin area. We advise that you do not engage in strenuous activity, sexual or otherwise, that may worsen any swelling or bruising. If you have significant bruising following your injections, please use caution while massaging the area or when using any penis pumps, extenders, or other devices.
Most of the time, any unevenness caused by a lump or bump from the
PMMA/bovine collagen gel matrix settling is a TEMPORARY complication. Your body is slowly metabolizing the bovine collagen gel matrix. This metabolism takes up to 16 weeks or maybe longer in some instances. If this occurs, you may place a warm compress over the area to make the product more malleable and enable you to massage it as needed.
Dr.
Rupeka can inject any lumps or bumps with a solution that can help metabolize them quicker. Although this is available, most patients will monitor the unevenness and use moist warm compresses and massage. It is important to remember that any initial unevenness (in the first 3-4 months) is usually caused by the temporary bovine collagen gel matrix.
Excessive heat exposure (sauna, hot tubs, etc) should be avoided in the first 2 weeks after treatment.
You need to have patience with the
PMMA used for this procedure.
PMMA is more structured than a
Hyaluronic Acid gel and will potentially be uneven initially. Products like this are sometimes unpredictable and can settle disproportionately. Most unevenness should be monitored and treated as above. Any ongoing unevenness can be treated with a dissolvent or evened out on a subsequent
Phalloplasty procedure.”
What he stressed to me in the office was massaging multiple times a day. He recommended at least 3 times a day and said doing it in a hot shower works well. He said 5 times a day would be better but most people have jobs that don’t allow that.
Even though he doesn’t provide a stretcher device, he told me keeping it stretched helps, but doing frequent massaging in both
Flaccid and
Erect states matters most. I popped a
Cialis the day after which has kept it
Hanging and really helped getting in many massages in both states for me (he didn’t tell me to do this though).
The massaging he recommended was rolling the penis back and forth between your hands. Starting at the base and working out to the tip. The motion is like trying to start a fire by rolling a stick between your hands you just don’t need to go that fast… The pressure you need to use was more than I was expecting though. He demonstrated it to me when I asked in the office.
The bovine carrier is what can be negatively affected by the high heat of a hot tub which is why he says to avoid them.
Three days post op and my swelling has faded some but I can tell there is still some there. Bruising is visually better today than yesterday. I’m basically 5-7/8”
Erect Girth all along the shaft this morning.
Flaccid Girth I right over 5” all along the shaft.
The wife is already VERY into the size difference already. We both can’t wait to give it a go when the it’s time.
