I had the most relentless itch behind the glands and at the circ scar the other night. The more I pinched and tried to relieve the itch the worse it got. I was at work at the time and grabbed a freeze pop and headed to the bathroom. I applied it directly to the area. It was uncomfortable at first but I'm telling you it put the fire out so to speak. So grab some frozen peas, ice, whatever. Sounds ridiculous but it worked.

Light to mild itching and "prickly" sensations can occur weeks, even months post-op. I always chalked it up to collagen formation & vascularization but I could never know for... it always subsided well after everything settled down and hasn't resurfaced ever since. This has been reported a few times and is a normal part of the post-op process. Good to know there is a remedy for it, but by most accounts this sensation is both subtle-to-mind and very intermittent.

Agreed, I was dealing with an extreme case. Typically itching is mild and goes away quickly. This particular night was so bad it continued on over 30 mins. It was so extreme I broke the skin of the Frenulum and the area scabbed over.

Did you ever just try typical Hydrocortisone creme?

This is funny cause I didn't know this was a thing at first and though a girl I slept with gave me a yeast infection. Later found out it wasn't that.

So I use Lotrimin and it helped. Felt good cause the cream was cooling and stayed moist a long time. A witch hazel swabs works well too.

No, it came to mind but I didn't have it on hand.
