TOPIC: Thinking of getting PhalloFill. Any tips?

New user here. I’m thinking of getting PhalloFILL with Dr. Josh Gonzalez in Los Angeles. I researched the procedure and generally am familiar with the aftercare. I’m not really sure how this sleeve thing works. I am partially cut so have some Foreskin. Sounds painful to have the glans exposed for 3 weeks.

Anyone have any tips about getting the procedure? Things you wished you knew before?

I don’t know the doc there, but the procedure is fairly straight forward. Go in wearing looser pants/ shorts as you are going to be dressing down the leg after they put the sheath on..

There are several members here that have done PhalloFILL ( I’m one of them ) that have documented their results . Also the PhalloFILL board here has video discussion. If you’re not sure you want to go PMMA at the onset, then PhalloFILL is a good option in my opinion ( I wanted to test drive the result as it were). Now, if I become a fast absorber, I know that I will go to PMMA, if I’m not I will stay with occasional top Ups from PhalloFILL . I likely won’t have this data point until one year in.

You will be more sensitive each time you take the sleeve off during the three weeks, not painful, just more aware. It passes quickly. Being circ. Myself I can’t speak to the Foreskin issue.

Thanks so much for the info. I ended up holding off on the PhalloFILL treatment with Dr. Gonzalez because I got a bad feeling from the office. They were very pushy about demanding payment while I still had questions about the procedure. They want to squeeze me in on a double booking, which made me feel uncomfortable considering that it’s an actual procedure that needs to be done.

I booked a consult with Dr. Tsay considering all the great reviews he has here. I’m considering fat transfer if I’m a candidate or standard HA injections.

Anyone have any opinion about injections into the glans? The idea sounds great to make things proportional, but I know that some providers refuse to do it.

I've read on here that the fat transfer ends up feeling too soft when Erect. HA is a good option too but can become expensive over time due to multiple fills and barely significant gains each round.

Use the search function to read folks' stories on the glans. From what I recall, it's usually not an issue unless it's not super symmetrical to your shaft. I also don't think it's permanent?

I can't speak on behalf of Dr. Gonzalez (Los Angeles PhalloFILL) but the Dallas PhalloFILL (Sponsor) has done stellar work. That said, it seems you are looking for a Southern California provider and Dr. Tsay is indeed a fantastic & well-reviewed option. Good luck!

Overall consensus here is that there isn’t a long term glans option. HA can be used in small quantity but lasts 2 months or less.

Damn that stinks. I’ll prob give it a try. But sounds like an expensive long term undertaking.

Thanks. Certainly makes sense to take advantage of someone local. And Dr. Tsay seems to be a pretty good choice. I have a consult Wednesday.

I’m definitely interested in fat transfer. But I’m not sure. He charges around $10K for one session of HA, which seems a bit intense. But if he gets results…

I wish I had known about the possibility of getting skin that is like Foreskin after the procedure and I also wish I had known about potential for discoloration.
after the second injections, the discoloration was more even so it doesn’t look bad, but it’s definitely darker than it had been.

I think 10,000 for one procedure is incredibly high. I don’t know a ton about this but I had to procedures and they were about $12,000 total. I can’t imagine putting all of that in one session. Maybe he’s got a different technique or something but I would be kind of leery of that

What caused the discoloration? Where was it?

I agree it’s really high. I think bc he uses Juvaderm, which is practically $1K/syringe.

I had extensive bruising and one particular bruise started brownish. I'm fair skinned Soo it stood out.
