As mentioned above I had the procedure.
Here is my review:
Androfill communication
Francis was great to speak to when available. He's extremely well informed and having had the procedure himself knew exactly how to help and what each stage would be like. I would think that him and Dr.
Horn have the most expertise on this subject matter in Europe.
I'd have liked Francis to have been involved a lot more however.
After the procedure I found it quite difficult to get hold of someone via their WhatsApp. When I eventually did speak to Francis, things where great but, I would say that this aspect could be improved greatly.
I reached out 5 times and received one call in response. I havent received any response after my last 3 attempts, even after sending a picture of a small complication.
To be balanced, if I was more assertive and perhaps frantic in my communication, I think I would have received more attention. Unfortunately however, that's not in my nature. I do not feel comfortable having to plead or ask repetitively.
The procedure
I went to the London location which was easy to find.
Dr
Horn conducted the procedure and during the pre-procedure consultation, he made no attempt to sell anything. He was even slightly dissuasive. I found this reassuring. For me, his professional manner provided reassurance of his competence. I don't want my surgeon to be a good salesman.
Once the paperwork was done, Dr
Horn told me to apply numbing cream and wait for 20mins as there would be no local anesthetic.
He then measured my penis
Girth and proceded to inject 8ml of
Ellanse M using a canula.
I noticed that he placed almost all of the product in one small area, roughly a 1
Inch in length. This resulted in something that looked very strange. Almost as if I had a ring or a doughnut of filler on the shaft.
I was becoming extremely nervous when I saw this, having watched probably every video online of anything being injected into penises and never seen anything like it.
I decided to keep quiet and not question what was going on. I assumed he would probably mould it once injected and that maybe he used a different technique to other practitioners.
I was wrong. Once finished, he measured the 'doughnut' area and wrapped it and told me to mould at night.
I have read every post on this forum about
PMMA and
Ellanse, so I knew I would not be following that advise and that I would be moulding as soon as I got home, before any swelling obscured the filler placement.
After care
Once I got home and took a look at the result I became even more nervous. I am generally calm and stoic in the most difficult of times, but it was hard to keep composed when seeing my penis looking the way it did.
I had read a lot about after care and proceded to get to work molding profusely and aggressively.
I would mould every few hours and keep it extended at all times. Fortunately, I am
Erect for most of the night naturally whilst sleeping too. I woke up every few hours to mould.
In the process of moulding so aggressively to try and fix the odd shape, I pushed a bit of filler past the circ scar. Although it was soft I could clearly see it was likley to cause a big
Nodule.
I moulded so much that my penis became quite painful to touch and swelled to above 7inches in
Girth. It was quite alarming at that stage whilst0 red and swollen.
After reaching out a couple of times Francis called me. He advised to keep it compressed and extended and stop with the moulding as it would cause swelling which wouldn't allow me to accurately see the filler placement.
This was great advise and I followed it. I made my own penis sleeve extenders from wrist support material, cut and sewed to size. I made them very tight to ensure the filler
Nodule was spread whilst still malleable.
Nodule Result
The technique Francis recommended worked and I managed to reduce the
Nodule. It's still there and now about the size of a pea. I can pinch it with two fingers. It isn't something that's obviously filler and doesn't bother me too much.
I know that i wouldn't have it if didn't mould so aggressively, but unfortunately it was necessary due to the initial placement or filler by Dr
Horn.
Size Result
Unfortunately the doughnut injected area was the only place with a noticeable size increase from 5.5 inches to 6
Inch.
The thinnest area of my penis, further up the shaft remained the same size. That area is really the only reason I wanted the procedure.0
I now have a taper going from roughly 6inches near the base to about 5.2 inches near the circ scar. The size difference is noticeable enough that my partner mentioned it.
I have kept it a secret from her so I implied that it must be to do with the swelling caused by a penoscrotal webbing surgery I had a about 6 weeks before the
Ellanse procedure.0
I am a little concerned that future partners will notice the unusual taper too. In my hand, holdiing either end the size difference is obvious. It has accentuated the thing I wanted to resolve.
On a side note: Those wondering if an Inch is that significant, it is. Its a huge difference..
Reflections
If I were to go back in time, I don't think I would do it again mostly because I was never that concerned about the
Girth of the area near the base of my penis and would have preferred a thicker second half of the shaft. This is on balance of cost and results. If the procedure was more economical, I'd reconsider.
The
Nodule doesn't bother me that much and isn't that noticeable whilst
Erect.
In order to be completly content with the result I think I'd need another 4ml injected into the second half of the shaft, making the taper less obvious. I wouldn't do it however, as I don't think the cost justifys it.
I have reached out to androfil a few times since my conversation with Francis, but unfortunately I have had no call back.
Advise to others considering it
Despite my results, if you are in Europe I would still advise using Androfil (London only).
I don't think there is anywhere in Europe nearly as experienced or as safe.
One thing that gave me a lot of confidence was the reassurance from Francis that Dr
Horn is a surgeon and willing to help 100% of patients with complications.
Tips
I would advise anyone going ahead with Androfil to be in close communication with Francis both prior and post procedure. I would also advise that you are particular about how the product is placed and don't assume that Dr
Horn is placing it correctly. Ask questions if unsure about anything.
- Read and research a lot before your procedure
- Plan moulding and aftercare
- Ensure you have the correct aftercare equipment
- Buy antibacterial cream for the injection sites to reduce the chances of infection
- Don't mould too much as you will cause swelling that will obscure any nodules
