I got 4 units (4.8 ml) this past Friday with Dr. Josh Gonzalez. Overall, everything in the office went good. I did not even know we had started the filling procedure until we got halfway done. I was waiting to feel some pain from the numbing injections and just never felt anything. I did want 5 units on this trip and 5 on a future trip, but Dr insisted on 4. My only complaint there is that I may have to make three trips as opposed to two and I am coming in from a bit of a ways away.
The issues that I experienced had nothing to do with the
PhalloFILL procedure, it was more my anatomy and retraction. I was nervous from the start and was experiencing the most retraction I have ever had and on top of that being uncircumcised, it made the process of wearing the sleeve very difficult. It slipped off before I even left the office so we had to put it back on and I left the office to head back to my hotel. I was only 15 minutes away so I walked, but I could feel it slip as soon as I stepped outside. I couldn't do nothing about it but get to my hotel and try and adjust it. When I got there and looked, it looked bad. On either side was all the filler concentrated and looked pretty scary. Luckily, being a follower of this site, I knew what to do and went into manual mode trying to mold it. I also texted the Dallas office since I had their number in my phone already and was too busy molding to call (I heard Dr. Gonzalez seeing another patient as I left so I figured he was busy at least for a while longer)
I got it pretty decent on my own. When I just kind of worked it and left it
Hanging out, it did great. As soon as I tried to put the sleeve back on or wrap it (Dr. Gonzales called eventually and suggested Coband Wrap) the compression would push all the blood out and the sleeve would slip again. So I just kept working it. There was a few hours between on that first day where I went to the store to get the coband wrap and couldnt really do nothing but let it hang free while I was out. When I got back, it flattened out and looked weird,(reminded me of fried butterfly shrimp haha) but I was able to just work it back into shape. when it got closer to time to sleep, blood was coming back and staying so retraction wasn't as bad. I was able to use the sleeve through the night. I just kept checking it and molding when needed. I do feel the sleeve helps keep your unit shaped cylindrical during the process, because seeing it get really flat looking was weird. And also its supposed to help smooth it out from the injection areas.
Second day, blood was back and was able to wear the sleeve more. I took it off to go through security at the airport and put it back on after. I was able to continue wearing it until night and went to sleep with it. During the night though, the sleeve split in half. I had an extra sleeve luckily but was not able to wear it due to rushing to the airport. I pretty much didnt wear it at all that third day from receiving injections. At this point, everything seemed to be staying in place. I was able to get an
Erection partially and see that it looked okay, not lumpy or weird. Today is the fourth day and I am home finally and able to wear the sleeve at home while I relax. I measured today and was at 5" MSEG - whereas before I was around 4.6" MSEG. It doesnt hurt, just kind of tender and feels slightly swollen. When it settles down, I am guessing a 1/4 - 3/8" gain hopefully.
I do think I could have gotten 5 units and been okay. Possibly next time I can do 6 units and handle that too. Knowing what I know now, next time I may use Sildenafil pills to promote blood and prevent retraction somewhat. Make sure I can commit to staying still for at least 24-30 hrs and have no plans other than making sure either the sleeve is staying in place, or the molding process is going good. Have some wrapping as well as some sort of roller. Its actually hard pushing the filler around when your unit is
Flaccid and moves so much with you as you try and mold it. I wish I had good before and after pictures, but I was coming directly from work (I work remotely a few weeks on / a few weeks off at a time) so instead of flying home, I just flew straight to this appointment. Also, my returning flight was cancelled so that's why I had to return so quick, I did give myself a day to heal, but I needed to get home sooner, otherwise I would have been stuck for a few extra days.
Only other thing I can think to add, is after the first 2-3 days, things are back to normal. I never felt like I couldn't be active, but knew I shouldn't. Today I went and got an easy workout on. The biggest thing is making sure the sleeve stays on. I took it off for my workout and put it right back on after. My wife knows I got this procedure, she came with me on my trip to get it. So far, it doesn't look bad or weird. I think it will function exactly the way I had hoped. If I was super concerned about the aesthetics, then I would definitely be following the post procedure more thoroughly. I am as much as possible, but the sleeve is just hard for me to wear when I am out doing things. I do have some pics, can try and post later.
