Hey, all.

I will be compiling my experiences (and pictures) within this thread. Just got back home about 12 hours ago from our flight and haven't done much more than sleep since landing, but expect some posts within the coming days.

My procedure involved full ligament release as well as Removal of the pubic fat pad (which my wife has been lovingly calling a Fupectomy). Once the FUPA was removed, they remove excess skin and reattach it similar to a common mini-tummy tuck. I used to be massively overweight and lost a ton of weight over a decade ago, but the FUPA never went away, leading to my guy being turtled/buried. There was no VY incision, as they used the same incision at my pant-line to snip the lig as they did to access the pubic fat pad. I mentioned this, and the response I got indicates that they use this incision as standard now in favor of the VY.

I flew in on Monday, had the procedure performed on Tuesday, had a follow-up on Thursday, and flew home 2 hours later. All-in-all, I'm surprised at how little pain is involved and the results certainly seem to be favorable, keeping in mind I'm still all wrapped up and can't really see my gains until I can take this stuff off next Monday/Tuesday. I have a drain that will stay in for 2 weeks, and staples that will stay in for 3.

Anyways, more to come. I'm trying to document this via pictures as well as possible, as this forum was pretty critical in my making the decision to pull the trigger. Hopefully this post will assist others, as well.

Had a couple PMs: expect me to post an update on Tuesday/Wednesday with pics/numbers/etc, as that is the day I am able to remove my Ioban dressings and gauze. Until then, the gauze is basically taking the place of my former FUPA, so I can't accurately comment on my gains.

Some other notes:
  • I was informed the 'rule of thumb' is that for every inch gained flaccid, to expect about half an inch erect.
  • Pain is still pretty minimal. Actually a bit worse than previous days, but I think it's because I'm regaining sensation in places that were numbed by trauma. It's still only a 3-4 out of 10. I did not even bother filling the Hydromorphone script, as the T3 (tylenol+codeine) has been sufficient. If I lightly pull on my penis, I can feel a bit of pressure, presumably where the ligament was cut. Other than that, most if not all of the pain I am experiencing is at the incision.
  • They've got the top 2/3 of my scrotum wrapped in Ioban, as well. I'm assuming this is to aid with swelling. As my wife explained to me (she has a medical background), fluid seeks the path of least resistance, and when you experience a groin injury, that often means it's heading for ya' sack. The PA at Rejuvall (forget his name, sorry dude) suggested elevating them, so I've been keeping the boys elevated by wearing my boxers around my thighs and 'propping' the sack up by tucking the elastic waistband under them. I knew it was swollen, but I was still a bit concerned when I went pee 30k feet in the air on my flight. Turns out pressure affects your goods, too.

It's great to see another thread like this. I look forward to following it. If you are feeling up to it, please post how your days are going and your pain levels. Where your pain is located and if experience anything else weird or unique that someone else would want to know.
And of course if you are willing, i am sure the board would love to see some progression photos as you go through everything.

Good luck to you .

Hey, all. I know I owe an update, but my family and in-laws surprised my wife and I for the holidays... between showing them around town and all, I haven't exactly managed to fit in the time to have a bunch of carefully-groomed dickpics up on my computer screen to upload for you folks.

Know that all is going well. The little bit of pain I did have is all but gone. Itchiness from healing is noticeable from time to time, and soreness after I've been in one position for too long (laying for sleep, sitting for work). I started Hanging with their provided 9oz kit (AutoExtender AutoXleeve) as soon as I had removed the Iodine wrapping (1 week post-op). I bought the 14oz weight from the AutoExtender website and have been using that for about a day. Honestly, this is the most comfortable ADS I've ever used.

My only gripe so far is swelling. My scrotum is still swollen and containing fluid. It goes down day to day, but is still much larger than normal. This makes pissing while going #2 a bit of an art. No infection, and my wife (medical background, though not Urology) says all looks normal. This swelling is especially noticeable at the end of a day of sitting upright/standing. The fluid also makes its way into my Foreskin, but this is alleviated by wearing the stretcher. It almost looks like the inner-tube effect some notice after they go a bit too hard with pumping.

Now that all of the gauze/etc is off, and my drain is out... all that's left is to have my wife remove my staples in about a week. I can safely say that I enjoy the new length: just how it sits is an improvement. No more Turtling. No more excessive Foreskin/fupa tucking it away. I honestly have yet to measure, so expect numbers in the future update after the New Year, but mentally this surgery has already been well worth it to me, even if I gained fuck-all and it's just the 'perception of length' due to FUPA Removal.

I am still leaning towards likely getting the excess skin on my scrotum (scrotoplasty) l looked at at a later date, to further improve the 'perception of length' from the other end... and I feel like Girth fillers might be on the menu as well. That said, I promised my wife (and myself) that I'd fully recover before making a determination. Right now, my Dick is still beaten up, and not at all indicative of what it'll look like 3-4 months from now.

Happy Holidays!

If you can, explain for the board which sleeve or sleeves you are using, Red or Blue ( i'm assuming blue ) with which cap, the 9oz or 14oz. and if you are unrolling the sleeve all the way to the base or are you leaving it upward on the shaft like their thinner short ads, light blue, sleeve that comes with the ADS ? Each of these variations all have different pulling effects and comfort levels. The more in depth we can get on these the better or board will be.
Also, how quick did you begin to try and use an ADS after the surgery?

It is great to hear that you are doing well and that you are happy with your results. I think that is the most important thing of all! I am looking forward to more updates when you can.

I second Texas' request. Just FYI, Dr. Solomon recommends 6 semicontinuous hours per day in an ads. He says this is to train the ligaments and should be done for 6 months. Seems awfully onerous. I read that Dr. Carney wants 2 hours/day in an ADS (primarily for elasticity?). Would seem that weight could help if this is the theory--have heard of some docs advocating more than 10 lbs. Anyway, its all over the map which is concerning.....

Perhaps it doesn't matter though--in tbat as long as you do 2 hours in an ADS you will get most of the stretching gains, which from the data I've looked at is at most 1/2 Inch.
