Fellow brothers, I contemplated writing this post because the latest most effective penis enlargement method is
PMMA. Hence I was unsure about how helpful my post about alloderm graft surgery would be.
However I thought that it is absolutely necessary that I post this to:
1) Put objective (as much as possible) information about such surgeries out there for everyone to read
2) My experience from 2 alloderm graft surgeries, V-Y lengthening and
Hyaluronic Acid widening (temporary) of the glans
3) How bad an infection could get IF you get it
4) How a stitched graft is like in the long run
My penis is considered \"small\" to start with, even when compared with other asian men, photos below will illustrate that. Naturally, the thought of having a \"bigger\" penis is definitely in my mind all the time.
I took a few months off this forum because after doing a lot of research reading up on
PMMA, I was so close to getting
PMMA widening done in South Korea by Dr Cho. I even booked an appointment in mid-March this year, however I cancelled it at the last minute because having \"what if\" thoughts of having complications freaked me out.
Being unfortunate to have a very bad staph infection after my 2nd alloderm surgery was a very big \"wake-up call\" to me about the risks of invasive penis enlargement surgeries. Unfortunate that I went through it but fortunate in a way to wake me up.
Anyways, without further ado, let me get on to the main objectives of this post.
Alloderm (or
Belladerm) surgery is a very invasive procedure where the surgeon will literally cut open your penis, insert the grafts, stitch them to the fascia (correct me if my terminology is wrong here), then stitch up your penis again.
Naturally, the penis will swell up ridiculously after undergoing such an invasive procedure. Wake-ups in the middle of the night due to pain is expected for at least 2 weeks. No showers for 2 weeks IF the wounds heal up properly without infections.
As mentioned, my penis got seriously infected by staph post 2nd alloderm surgery. What is being done: wounds are cut open again AND left OPEN! Everyday, go to the surgeon, be put on an antibiotic drip while he cleans up the pus, which hurts like HELL! Go home, dip my penis in iodine mixture for 10 mins, no showers, end of day. Next day, rinse and repeat for 10 full days before the infection is cleared. Thinking about this now still makes my hair stand. It was that bad.
I inserted some photos of pre-surgery, post 2nd surgery healed up and a recent photo 1.5 years onwards.
Summary of my thoughts:
1) Alloderm or
Belladerm surgery: NOT worth it at all. Considering the minimal widening effect, cost and most importantly, risks of infection.
2) V-Y lengthening: at the moment, my gains are around 2cm. But it left a very ugly inverted \"Y\" scar in my pubic region. NOT worth it at all.
3)
Hyaluronic Acid enlargement of my glans: My glans circumference increased around 1 cm but this will subside over time due to the temporary nature of
Hyaluronic Acid. Worth it or not? Well, it was satisfactory but I won\'t do it again.
I hope that this post will help people considering alloderm or
Belladerm surgery to widen their penis. I understand that there are some guys who think that these grafts are so-called \"safer\" than injecting foreign matter such as
PMMA into the penis. Well, these grafts are foreign matter as well. If there isn\'t enough vascularity to these grafts, they will die as well. However till now, this surgeon that I went to fortunately has an overall satisfactory rate among his patients. In one of my follow-up visits, there was an old man who underwent alloderm widening surgery with him 15 years ago and he brought his son there for exactly the same procedure (What was on his mind?!!).
Anyway, I hope that this post is helpful in some way.
