Hey there,

Newbie here so sorry for the long post, but I underwent a fat transfer for Girth enhancement about seven weeks ago. I\'m Circumcised already, but it was a loose cut, so I still had some loose skin which bunches up behind the glans

After the operation, I\'ve been left with a \'donut\' of swelling all around my loose skin. It\'s also bulging out at the sides and is also collecting on the underside where my Frenulum would be. It feels more like fluid than fat.

I\'ve reabsorbed quite a bit of the fat already, so I went for my first top up this week. The donut was still there, even though my shaft had shrunk (making it look worse), so I spoke to my surgeon. He said it\'s a mixture of fat, swelling and a bit of seroma, and that I should massage it quite strongly and it will resolve, but I got the feeling he was fobbing me off and I\'m worried it\'ll be permanent. I\'ve been massaging it and it helps for about five minutes, but then it all starts bulging out again.

Has anyone had a similar experience? I\'m so stressed and upset. I feel like I\'ve got rid of one aesthetic issue and created a worse one that I\'m even more ashamed of. At least it was even before! After seven weeks the swelling and seroma should be pretty much gone, right? Or should I be more patient?

Thanks for listening

Without photos it\'s difficult to really comment.

I assume you are a Dr Viel patient?

If I were you I\'d eithe buy a silicone tube and cut about 1/2\" and Inch of it and put it over the swelling, or alternatively use some coban wrap or similar. You can buy a similar product to the Coban bandage in Tesco I think. But I think the silicone tube idea would be the best.

Seroma\'s and fluid can last a log time, often many months, so don\'t stress about it.

But like I said, without seeing photos it\'s really hard to fully understand what is going on.

How are the things other than that. How much did you gain? Does it feel natural? Is the result smooth?

OK, I\'ve taken a few pics to show you what I mean. I press the bulge and the resistance is \'looser\' than pressing the shaft, so hopefully it\'s just fluid. But at the moment it just looks deformed. I did this to feel confident and if anything I feel less confident than before.

I\'m reserving judgement on the final result, there are a few uneven bits, and a couple of lumps where there is persistent swelling, but on the whole it looks fine. At the moment I couldn\'t care less about other irregularities. I\'m just consumed with the fear that this bulging will be permanent :/

It looks like you circ scar isn\'t as compliant as the surrounding skin, so could be trapping some fluid.

Like I said previously, by a silicone sleeve and cut a small piece of and put it over the bulge. By keeping compression on it, it will cause the fluid to absorb quicker.

Also you don\'t need to be cosumed with fear that it will be permanent as it\'s in an easy location to surgically fix. Your circ scar isn\'t the neatest as it is, so any correction would only improve your penis, as that is where the surgeon would make the incision. But it won\'t be necessary, as it will go down.

Other than that, you result looks fantastic.

Just nip to you local Wilkinsons and buy one of these:

Cut a 2 cm wide strip and firmly wrap it over the bulge. Leave it there for a few weeks, obviously use a new strip daily.

Thanks Hoddle, I\'ll do that. How long do you think until I see some improvement? It\'s been 7 weeks already. Was kind of hoping I\'d see some improvement soon

I can\'t say. I had a seroma that lasted several months. Compression will definitely speed things up. My guess is that you\'ll see an improvement in the next few weeks. You\'ve got to accept that\'s it\'s just an inconvenience rather than a problem, otherwise you\'ll drive yourself crazy. You\'ve just got to be patient. Keep it snugly wrapped and massage as instructed by your surgeon.

I second Hoddle, those are great FFT results! The \"donut\" isn\'t nearly as bad as I had initially imagined on from your first post. Listen to Hoddle, fat transfers aren\'t foreign to him.

I had PMMA not FFT but my swelling looked similar and it subsided over time. You\'ve gotten some great advice. Hope it helps and relieves your mind a bit.
