TOPIC: Apparent swelling of lymph nodes post PMMA

Apparent swelling of lymph nodes post PMMA 9 years 9 months ago #1285957987

Hi Guys,

I had PMMA done last Thursday with Dr N. After the procedure I swelled up pretty badly, including my scrotum which ballooned, so I decided to take ibuprofen to help reduce it.
It has since gone down but now, from what it feels like, the lymph nodes in my groin and neck are swollen instead.
They feel quite hard and I\'m aware of them, my pubic area is more prominent and my throat feels a little constricted.
Has anyone else experienced this? Could it just be due to those areas removing a lot of fluid in a short space of time? Might I have a bacterial infection? Hopefully they\'re not obstructed with PMMA + carrier - is this even possible?

Hoping to hear some helpful tips and suggestions soon.

Thanks

PMMA beads are a foreign material to your body. So once you ve gotten them injected and the carrier is absorbed your body ( immune system ) tries to elimitate the intruder. The immune system switches to alert mode and sends it's police ( not going into too much detail here ) to the intruders. Imagine the lymph nodes as police headquaters, which are now crowded and in expansion due to the high number of officers. The police is going to struggle for some weeks to try and catch the intruders but they have to admit that those are to smooth to catch. Thats why they build a prison ( collagen ) around the intruders to keep them in place and avoid that they will ever move again.
This might help understanding whats going on.

Injecting PMMA triggers a 'controlled' infection. So it is normal that your lymph nodes are swollen. Give them some time.
Everyone should understand the very last detail of what a procedure is about, before choosing to get one ( my 2 cents )

That was a very good basic explanation, O.

This is a perfect response and everyone looking into this procedure should understand this...

This is, for me, a huge reason why I am extra hesitant despite interest. I\'ve had swollen lymph nodes for nearly ten years, have an overactive immune system, and am worried something like PMMA would tip me over the edge into some sort of horrific state.

The same is true for me, nohidingstyle. I\'ve had swollen lymph nodes for years without any discernible cause or reason. And I wonder if getting a foreign body injection would also trigger something catastrophic.

So, I *think* my inflammation etc is diminishing now although it does seem to flare up from time to time.

I must\'ve had a pretty strong immune reaction to the injections. I had only recently recovered from a 2 week bout of flu, and I still had a mild cough, so maybe this played a part?
The night I sent that message I woke up with an irregular strong heart beat and a feeling of fluid flowing down my chest. I also felt kind of dazed throughout the last couple of days, with pains in my joints and buttocks, and my skin had a prickly warm feeling. There are still remnants of this now.
Thanks for the explanation, I knew about the collagen formation, and others reporting mild inflammatory reactions, but I did feel violently ill which set alarm bells ringing.

Nohiding and notwhat, I think you\'re right in holding off if you have mild lymph issues going on now. It\'s the first time I\'ve had these kind of symptoms, but at one stage they were pretty intense.

Hi Copiro

Hows the Lymph node issue now.

Was wondering if you could give us some information on your procedure.
Would be great as am trying to get as much information concerning Dr N before making any decision concerning having the procedure. Especially in light of Superman\'s lack of gains recently.

Hi Mate

same shit happened to me with Dr N..thats why Dr C uses a cortizone before hand.

Go get some TRAUMELL..Dr N told me to get some..its a natural anti-inflamatory and works wonders while being very gentle on the stomach and, liver etc which will help calm the lymph nodes. Don\'t worry..everything will settle down,as the body adjusts..stay calm and relaxed..all will be sweet..TRYST ME!

You can also get TRAMMEL injections..I would highly recommend them over cortisone. They also allow the body to heal at the same time normally and naturally.

GOOD LUCK & GODSPEED
