TOPIC: 2.5 years since my first PMMA session - a longer term perspective

2.5 years since my first PMMA session - a longer term perspective 10 years 3 months ago #1283919765

I haven\'t been back here for a while so thought I should update as my first PMMA session was January 2012. In terms of results I\'ve gone from approx 5 inches to 5.5 inches Girth.

I\'ve had 3 sessions in total and I\'m going for my fourth in a few weeks. The third session was a year ago and was just to fix cosmetic issues as is the fourth.

I had a Circumcision as after my second session even though I could still retract the Foreskin, the Foreskin just didn\'t look natural any more. It looked permanently swollen as if I\'d been pumping or something. Admittedly the shaft does still look like that now years later so I know in my Flaccid state it\'s easy to see I\'ve done something to my Cock. As a gay man it\'s even more obvious as people will compare it to their own. One person asked me outright what I\'d done to my Cock as it looked \"different\" (he\'d never seen my Cock before PMMA by the way so it wasn\'t a before and after type comment). I\'ve also had somebody comment that it looks swollen (in a \"is everything ok\" way).

I have definitely had other people playing with my Cock in a suious way, squeezing it, looking at it funny etc as they can see something is different. When Flaccid I can pull the PMMA away from the shaft, so I try not to let people see/touch my Cock soft as much as I can help it. The shape also changes a bit temporarily if I wear tight underwear so I avoid that now to.

And when hard if I pull the skin back from the base it\'s definitely very lumpy and bumpy. I use larger condoms as sometimes when I\'m rolling on a condom it will get stuck on lumps or ridges. I wouldn\'t let anybody else put a condom on me now as it could be too obvious there is something in my Cock.

In Erect state I would definitely say there has been changes over time. It definitely doesn\'t stay the same long term. Right now when Erect there\'s a few ridges, lumps, bumps etc which is why I\'m going for a fourth session. I must admit I really hoped I wouldn\'t have ever needed a fourth session but a few years in I suspect having PMMA is a lifelong commitment that requires regular work to keep it looking good. In hindsight this should have been obvious really as something like a penis that is constantly growing and shrinking, used for sex etc - no foreign body inserted in it can act the same way as it naturally does so is going to change over time.

Having a thicker Cock has not fixed my problems, which I think many of us imagine it will. I guess my size insecurities have been replaced with other concerns such as can people tell, or further frustration when you see someobody who\'s still bigger than you and they haven\'t even had anything done to theirs. I think I focus on length now more than I used to as my Girth is better. And my day to day life is no more or less happy than it was before.

Do I regret having had PMMA? Yes sometimes I do. My Cock definitely looked nicer before even if it was thinner. If I could go back to the start would I have it done again? Probably not, although that depends on when you ask me. Sometimes I think if I could do it again I\'d have had less injected on my second session (I\'m really sorry but i cant remember concentration, quantities etc now as was a long time ago) as maybe it could have looked more natural now if I did.

By all means I think it\'s totally up to the individual if they choose to have it, but it is important to have realistic expectations. It won\'t fix your life\'s problems or change you as a person.
As this board is often people straight after the op excited about how much bigger they look, I think it gives a bit of a false impression that may make people choose PMMA without being fully aware of everything it involves longer term.

I will update after my fourth session but I hope my post has not concerned anybody and that it paints an accurate experience (my experience at least) of what living with PMMA is like once the initial excitement has passed.

Great post! I have only had my first procedure 6 months ago which resulted in a pretty terrible outcome aesthetic wise from Dr. C. ( not saying he doesn\'t produce good results but that was not my case) I later had it touched up by a doctor in Korea(Dr. Cho) and it is looking better but like you said, it\'s constantly changing and I feel that this will never be perfect like a real penis unfortunately. I was way too optimistic reading peoples post about PMMA before I had the procedure. I wish I didn\'t get so excited and rush to have it done. Anyways that\'s the tradeoff for an enhanced penis.

Just to be clear my post is in no way a criticism of Dr C or his team. If I had a problem with him I would go to a different doctor for treatment, but I still believe he is one of the best and most experienced at this procedure which is why I\'m going back to him.

I think this post should be required reading for anyone over 5\" who is starting down this path. There are several new posters with 5.5+ who are asking about PMMA and very confused when people try to talk them out of it.

With 4\" Girth in my case, the trade-offs were worth it. I am not sure if it is going to be lifelong thing I\'m going to have to maintain...but it seems to vary. For example, brunoxxx just had 2 sessions and never any issues (off the top of my head) whereas others have had more problems.

When did your problems start showing up?

Thanks for coming back to post this. Long term things are always helpful. Would you consider posting any photos? Sometimes people are a lot more critical of themselves than others would be.

PR2005, sorry to hear about your issues and hope they can be resolved in your forth round. When did the problems start, I saw you had a few lumps from first round, then had 20% (which you mentioned it didn\'t feel as natural as the first round). What percentage did you have for your 3 round?

I know you said you wouldn\'t have it done again, but if you were going to would you have stuck with 10%? Do you think there would be less issues?

Also very curious about the 250% cc you had injected in the bum, have you had any issues there and did it make a noticeable difference?

To be honest Michael its never been quite right. It\'s impossible to say if I\'d only ever had 10% how much better it would be. If your asking if I think if I\'d stuck to 10% would it be totally natural feel and look right now? I don\'t believe it would no. Maybe it would have been MORE natural and less issues but I don\'t think PMMA can ever really look and feel natural. At least not from my experience. It\'s always going to have some lumps and bumps and move in a way real penis tissue doesn\'t. At least that\'s my belief based on my experience.

In my butt it added volume and because it\'s amongst fat etc it\'s much more natural look and feel, although I do have some lumps that I want fixed in this visit. I think when I get old and lose a lot of natural volume in my butt cheeks it will be very obvious where the PMMA is, but right now it was much more successful in terms of look and feel than the penis work I had done.

Thank you for the post - I was particularly interested to hear that you can pull it away from your shaft Flaccid, which is what I have now with a graft and find it really odd. When I saw your post and it said a \"long term perspective\" my initial thought was no way 2.5 years is long enough to be long term (as my procedure went south over the course of over a decade).
I came to the same conclusion about not doing it again even though I look relatively good down there except with a boner and it is somewhat fixable / ie. I can have it removed but who knows what that looks like. My goal was to add PMMA but I think I will just have it removed finally and deal. My procedure looked amazing for over a decade but mostly I spent too much time worrying about my size before, and then fixing my size and then obsessing on the new size - I knew every f*ckin Inch of my Dick like it was it\'s own neighborhood and had thoughts about what needed to be done to it to get it perfect, and then depressed about the changes over time that happened to my Dick, and blamed myself for ruining it. It is crazy!! I can\'t say that it brought me closer to anybody either, I just got off thinking about what other people thought about my size, lol. Over the last 20-30 years I have probably had sex with 2,000 - 3,000 people, mostly when I was younger and I live in NYC so that is very do-able. As I have aged I can say there is not one part of my body that hasn\'t aged with me, the idea that whatever I did to my Dick was going to not be subject to the same law I see now as naive. Lastly I am not so old (51) that I am dealing very well with having a Dick that looks like a botched PE surgery. I used to get off on what people I had sex with thought my big Dick, now I am wondering if the people I have sex with are thinking that my Dick looks odd, lol. It\'s all sort of the same thing I realize. Just a cautionary tale, not meant to bring anyone down.

It\'s posts like these that have kept me from refraining to take the final step. I\'ll just continue with manual PE for some more time, I guess. Thanks for your honesty.

This makes me really scared to do anything. I\'ve looked at other members who success with it but they seem to get lumps. So if that\'s the case why not get fat transfer then.

How exactly is it a dumb question. You get larger doing both FFT and PMMA, truthfully I don\'t see the difference. In both cases you get lumps.

Fat tends to be softer and isn\'t permanent. However, I\'ve known a few guys who had really great results with FFT, said it felt very natural and appeared to be permanent. The trouble is, is that it\'s very unpredictable. But these days, I think PMMA has become less predictable. Results don\'t seem to be as consistent as they once were in my opinion.

thank you for the very detailed long term followup report. There are not many of these and they are very helpful.

You might want to stick with 10% for the 4th round. I also feel PMMA results have gotten more unpredictable over the past 2 years or so. It is not clear exactly why though.. more guys using 30% ? new plastic obsolete ? too aggressive aftercare ? And also nobody used sleeves or stretched right after the procedure that I can recall in Jan 2012 or previously. It is too bad the doctor does not followup and track results more carefully so technique could be refined and improved over time.
