UpdateI had surgery with Dr R back in August 2010. I had curvature correction, lig detachment and
Belladerm implant. I lost about 50% of the feeling in the shaft due to the cutting of some of the nerves, this was a problem. But it did improve somewhat, either I adapted or I regained some of that back over time. My statsPre surgeryEg 4.25EL 6.0\"6 months after surgeryEg 4.75EL 6.0Immediately after surgery I went from 6.0 in EL to 5.0\", but after about 4 months using the grip system I got back to 6.0 EL.Things were relatively ok, I even considered having Belloderm a second time in order to gain more
Girth. Then in Sept-Oct 2012 something happened. Within a few weeks my
Erection began to curve backwards. The penis kinked in two locations, right across the gland and then lower on the shaft. My length went back to 5.0\" and
Girth went to 4.5\", worse the kinks were painful, when
Erect, it curved to one side and when fully
Erect (which I could only maintain for 1-2 minutes because of the pain) the uretha opened wide to a large gaping hole.Can\'t tell you how much this freaked me out...I was really depressed. So I emailed Dr R...he suggested stitches on the bottom side...no way...after some other emails he suggested the Andro Extender out of Europe. I had started using the grip system as soon as this happened but this time it had no effect. So I got the Andro Extender (which was not easy to figure out) and initially tore some of the skin on the underside of the gland. But within a few months it got the \"kinks\" out. I measured and after 6 months EL was at 5.5\" and EG remained at 4.5\" which is where it remains today. I stopped using the Andro extender for about 6 months, measured and my EL went back to 5.0\".The \"kinks\" are gone, the uretha is much better in that it does not open but just a bit when fully
Erect, and the gland still bends backwards but is about 50% improved. Progress is slow..but it is progress. I think given the progress it might be possible to get some of the final bend out. Its odd, I think some guys have this naturally, and are ok with it, but given where I started...straight is most important to me.I was pretty freaked out for a while, kicking myself for going down this path, but I have to admit that I am grateful for this forum (which I did not know about prior to surgery), I wish I had known about it before...but then it was the other one at that time.It\'s hard to believe that after all this, and not being fully over it that I would consider
PMMA...but I have thought about it. I liked being at 4.75, 5.0-5.5 EG would be great.I believe I know what happened, I don\'t blame Dr R. for it, although I did feel very much on my own when it happened.I would say that now 3 years later I am much more optimistic about things, and I think if I continue to use the Andro Extender, perhaps with the grip system later that I will get the final curve out, maybe some of the length back...don\'t want to do this for the rest of my life though. As for
PMMA...I think about it, just to get to 5.0 even, not sure the risk is worth it, regardless of size I would just like to get to average and be done with it. thanks
