TOPIC: 4 Weeks Post Op With Dr. R

Ive been following the posts but finally decided to give some feed back as I am having a difficult time with my progress. Today is my 4th week post Lengthening and Widening procedure with Dr. Rosenthal. Prior to surgery I was about 2-3 inches Flaccid and about 3.75 in Girth. While Erect I was about 4 inches in Girth and 5.75 in length. Surgery went well for the firts few days but about a week post op I developed a hematoma right around the pubic area. It was very painful and I was prescribed antibiotics for about 3 weeks. My incision healed almost perfectly but I had a real hard time with drainage hole. I think it kept draining until the 3rd week. I was freaking out the whole time specially now since I ve had severe retraction. To be honest I think Ive lost about hald or my original lenght. I feel like the grafts have moved but Dr. R. is letting me know that it still swollen and that it is all a process. I am trying to be optimistic but it is har to see an almost 6 Inch penis reduce in size dramatically. I ordered the grip system and should be receiving it this week. Dr. R. said I should still not stretch before I see him since it is still a bit swollen. The reason why I think the grafts have moved is becuase I can feel the graft only going to half the base of my penis. It is much harder on the base of the shaft and I can feel where the line ends. Even the skin color tone changes since a fuller base is lighter in color. My erections are painful and disapointing. Yes much thiker at the base but quite short and I feel like its way thicker inside or behind the pubic area. Like if the grafts had migrated inwards. LIke i said I continue to be optimistic and all i have going for myself now is trusitng my doc and hoping I am just freaking out. I hope to regain at least what I lost even if there is no gain from the surgery. Retraction is in my mind all day and wish I could just know the actual result of this procedure. Sorry to hear about your retraction. I suspect when the swelling subsides and you get onto a traction/Hanging program, you\'ll see much of that length return. Right now I\'d follow the doctor\'s orders and remain patient.
We have other Dr. R patients around here too, including Kingpin, Richard, and Soma. Shoot them a PM (and use the search function to find other patients).

I too had Dr R do my Belladerm.. My only thought would be do self think anything but keep in close contact with Dr R..

Thank you Skeptical and Richard. I appreciate it your input. I am only 4 1/2 weeks post op so I need to be patient. BTW Dr. R. office has amazing service as far as Receptionist (Cleo is Amazing!) and Nurses and Anesthesiologist are very professional and friendly. I have 0 complaints. I have an appt next week so I hope to see progress by then.

Just to inform on my progress. I was cleared by Dr. R. to start stretching. I received my grip system 3 weeks post ordering. I had to call becuase the guy had forgotten to send it. I received it but had to reorder a size kit as the size I had ordered was to small. It only took 3 days to receive and I am stretching for the first time. Its a bit painful with a stretching sensation. I started 30 min with 3lbs weight. I will probably keep the weight the same for a while. I also finally gave my new penis a try. Sex was actually better than I thought. Condom fit me great as opposed to before where I was to thin to fill it comfortably. I am quite excited since I am beginning to see some results. Length is still not up to original size but I am pretty happy with the new feel to sex.

Your post sounds like mine... I really could feel the incision pull with my grip at the beginning and if that is your feeling, do two sets of 20 minutes... The major pressure will be your skin below the incision.. no worry as that stretches your will gain Flaccid hang alot... so it will take every day Hanging but it you get too sore back off a day... good luck and feel free to PM me anytime...

thanks richard. i think i was doing a little to long of preiods. 45 min with 3lbs. i def took ur adivce as it was a bit too painful. how olong before you moved your weights up..

I was upset at the start of my stretching thinking I would just stretch like a piece of rubber tubing.. Not that way because the scar hurt me the most so I backed off and did not try to he a superman and grit it out.. At week 7 or 8 I took a break from the Hanging and relaxed.. The scar looked healed but it really was tender inside.. So at week 8 I reduced the weight and shortened the time... I am the type that I push hard to increase the weight, but I learn very differently..It is not like there is contest going on here its a long process to get the gains back...I have been stretching and I could feel and see the skin below the cut stretch and kinda flatten out as it was being pulled down.. The pulling down with the skin allows the Flaccid hang much longer...I was el 6.5 and i finally am back to that and I have put the Grip system away for now... no hurry.... Your infection is just something no one can predict.. I am happy your now moving forward.. TAKE IS SLOW... THANKS SO MUCH
