So sorry to hear about your troubles. I myself have spent much of the last 15 years living in a depressive haze due to bad outcomes from PE surgeries.
I think point 6 is perhaps for me the most important and why I so constantly urge people not to consider these surgeries. I don\'t think it\'s possible for most guys to even contemplate just what they are risking. You think by making yourself aware of possible complications that you are preparing yourself for the surgery. But the problems that occur as a results of poor surgery go way beyond the penis. The effect this has on your life as a whole is staggering. You simply don\'t realize just how driven your life is by sex until you are no longer able to or no longer want to have it. Your motivation to do just about anything simply vanishes. Even the smallest of tasks seems like an agonizing and pointless effort. Our lives are driven by incentives and by far the greatest incentive is sex. Virtually everything we do is in someway related to seeking sex. Once you lose that objective, it\'s very hard to want to anything.

Life is more than having sex tho.. if u can find an understanding companion, that can be more rewarding then having sex.

If man didn\'t have to find a mate to reproduce I assure the human race would have hardly evolved. Finding some kind of companion doesn\'t quite motivate in the same way trying to reproduce does.

Sex seems alittle overrated to me, but i could be feeling this way because im on prozac which basically kills your libido.

This is a very sobering dose of reality. Thank you, Volcano6509, Hoddle, and Medilook. I am getting carried away with my casual attitude toward procedure after procedure, all in the pursuit to be better than other men. That\'s all it is. Anyone with a penis that can deliver pleasure to the user is blessed.

Volcano6509 wrote: I have not posted for a while, but mostly in the interest of warning others I want to give my results. It is exactly one year since the surgery and 9 months post reversal (not by Elist as I would never let him touch me again): 1. I have lost an estimated 40% of the sensation in my penis and at some points could not reach orgasm. It can still be a lot of work to gt there. 2. I lost about an Inch of lenghth that is really permanent at this point. 3. My Erection quality is poor and often difficult to acheive. even with the stronges ED medicaction (injections). 4. As a result of the above my libido has been destroyed. I really miss that desire for sex that I had before. 5. As a result, I am contantly severly depressed even after taking medications. 6. As a result of that I have a hard time getting motivated to do ANYTHING. My life has changed dramtically in a negative way. I just hope I can get my life back in order. I hope you will put a sticky on this so that people who are researching the surgery can easily find it. I wonder why this site is so hard to find. It does not come up with a search for elist or for'Penis enlargement surgery. Mayme the name should be something that gets a hit more easily when googleing. I appreciate all that I have read hear and hope that others doing the research find it BEFORE they make the mistake of using Dr. Elist's procedure.

Sorry to hear about your situation, and it highlights both the risks involved with the implant as well as the risks with Phalloplasty in general. One should never enter this arena of cosmetic augmentation as a casual pursuit. Also, we definitely do come up on search engine results with the right keywords. Especially on Google. Hang in there, and thanks again for your insight!

Sex is a huge motivation in life and I believe it is because it is the center of keeping the human race alive hence our struggle in life revolve around sex, mostly subconsciously.

This dr elist has ruined more lives than any one else in the PE world. His defunct silicone implant and the failure of the legal American medical system has allowed him to do so. I can\'t imagine how he can sleep at night. I believe in Karma and I think it will come back and punish him harder than ever.

I feel for you man, having gone thru a similar but less dramatic scenario. I do hope you try to keep a positive attitude and keep on chugging along.

I urge you to keep looking for ways to improve your situation and not give up. We all have been thru some sort of depressive mode, so I do wish you the best of luck.

Check out all your options and rest assured we, on this board, will be always supportive to you!

Volcano6509 - what was your reason for wanting to put a foreign object inside ur penis when u were compleyetley normal to begin with? I know i complain alot on this site but i jist dont understand how anyone can live witj a silicone implant inside their Dick no matter how small u may be.

I forgot to say that its possible your loss of libido is from taking anti depressants and not surgery

It is always easy to ask this question afterward. At the time, the silicone implant and its dr were an option that seemed very good because of the lies behind it. Most men will fall for the trap. I found out about how bad the implant was AFTER I had it. Not sure if it helps Volcano6509 now to ask this question. I do wish him best of luck.

\'Defunct silicone implant\' because it has finally been forbidded or because it should be beneath the earth due to its terrible track record, Mustang?

Hey Volcano6509, Have u thought about getting the PMMA procedure? Mustang: Didn\'t the PMMA procedure seem to help fix the complications u had from the implant?

Not really. I was told it would fix it, but it did not. It just hid it and I am not complaining either.
The PMMA helped hide some of the Peyronie\'s I got from the silicone implant. I suspect when/if I get the curvature corrected with surgery to remove scar tissue and straighten the penis, then I may need another PMMA session to refill some of the unevenness that will most likely show up.
