Capital log (I am back!) 12 years 8 months ago #1272387591

Hi everyone!
First of all sorry for the possible typos, I am not used to qwerty keyboards.
Some of you who were on the old forum might remember me- I have not been very active on this one mainly for privacy reasons (I am not good in hiding...)
A very brief summary of my experience so far
-starting EG was about 4.5 (no difference between shaft and base), uncircumcised. I am in my late 20s
- went on my first round with Dr C in June 2011. At first, being very tired (16 hours trip from France) and a bit scared I asked for a very conservative intervention. I was disappointed by the result since I had no apparent gain ( maybe 0.1...no swelling or bruising either}.
-So I came back in the evening and told them I was disappointed, that I had made a mistake asking them to be so prudent. Dr. C said he had been a bit disappointed too by my outcome but he thought his vision was distorted by all the patients asking for huge gains...After some thought and since I had to fly back to Europe 1 day after he said he would inject me a second time (for free) even thought it was not recommandable - I would have to take extra medicine etc. I am very grateful for this - the excellent opinion I had of them (Wade and Dr C) became even higher.
- This time I asked for maximum gains. I don t know unfortunately how many ccs they gave me but I saw the difference this time! Girth was big, bruising and swelling very bad.The swelling stayed for quite a time after the operation and was made worse by the fact that I am uncircumcised I think. It was a bit scaring but Wade was very helpful.
- 3 weeks after my Girth was about 5.4 - a great 0.9 gain! I was very happy even though I noticed 3 little issues that are still there - 1) a hard ridge at the top, sort of half ring 2) a dent in the right side of the shaft, visible when Flaccid 3) a red mark all along the back side of the shaft
- Now my Girth ( final for round 1)is 5.1 and 5.3 at the top because of the ridge. So the final gain is rather 0.6 which is good.
I am now in Tijuana going for my second round in a few hours. I would like a max gain + the correction of the ridge. I am not doing the same mistake again!
I will give more details (and pictures if I can) about round 2 in a few hours.
On a side note, I would like to say that even though I have not been posting here for a long while, I came very frequently to check for news (good or bad) about the fellow phalloboarders. And I really want to thank everyone for all the information they have shared, and the moderators for the excellent work they do. I think it is a great luck to have a forum of such quality. And since the procedure has a lot of unknowns on the long term it is very important to keep it alive for the years to come.

Glad to have you back, and yes I (and am sure many others) remember you from the old forum. And I also agree, this site\'s importance with relation to PMMA rests in the reporting of members in the long-term, not just short-term. It will be crucial to see how current patients fare in the coming years. We are fortunate to have Smartman (non-Dr. C patient) who is out 3 years+ and GSXR who is 1 year + out. I\'ll be closing in on my 1 year post-op Round 1 in 3 months :-)
I hope other Old PB veterans return to keep us posted from time to time, like ghostfmj & bigbizo8 & others.

Hi Capital great to have you back again and I wish you the best bro, btw your 1st rd was on the 3rd of June 2011, so your 2nd rd now will be almost 9 months post-1st PMMA rd, it is almost like in my case (8 months).

Thanks for your nice welcome Smartman, SO and Miracle.
@Smartman : you\'re right about the date, corrected!
So here is what it looks like (see picture attached).
As always the team was friendly, reassuring and very professional. I thought they looked a little tired though...
I was a little worried because during and after the procedure Dr. C and Wade told me I was a challenging case - some places being difficult to reach etc. Wade seemed to think that the way I would massage it would be crucial for the final outcome.
In fact, I am quite happy with the result so far. As you can see the dent on the right has not disappeared in spite of their efforts and mine. So It looks like I am going to keep this, and it\'s quite visible when Flaccid, less when Erect.
On the positive side :- I am now a little bit under 6 at the base - I suppose this is going to change in the next days and weeks but I have very little swelling and almost no bruising. So I hope the final stats will not be too disappointing compared to this.
- They managed to diminish the ridge. Dr C said he tried to put product around the neck to camouflage it, and he also gave me a Kenalog shot. What I found surprising is that they didn\'t think about that first. It is only when I asked Wade about it that they said it could be a good solution (thanks -Phalloboard and especially thanks Smartman for the tip!). And I think it worked somehow. But I can\'t really say because this is probably going to change a lot in the next days and the ridge may reappear when the swelling is gone...
- I have no apparent lump or ridge for now. I have been massaging a lot for the first few hours post op, and massaged a lot of the product out of the entry points as a matter of fact, to avoid any lump there. They told me that massaging was efficient only during the next 24h but as far as I am concerned, I don\'t feel I can move the product anymore after the first 3 hours. It seems quite settled now.
Numbers:I received 20cc of 20% (I had asked for the biggest they considered safe..) plus a few ccs of 10% here and there. But as I said, I think I took a certain amount of product out while massaging the entry points.
On the first session I had actually received a total of 23 ccs with a mix of 20% and 10% (it was a record at that time they told me - now the record is 28ccs).
I\'ll keep you posted about its evolution.

Hey everyone,

I had not realized I had been away for so long! We all know how important it is to have a long term follow up, so here is a little update on my situation (which is pretty stable now).

I am mostly happy with the outcome of the 2 (well 2,5) rounds I\'ve had. I am approximatively 5,3-5,5 EG which was my goal.

Now the reason why I say 5,3-5,5 is that a fairly big lump has remained on the right side, in the middle of the shaft. It\'s harder and bigger than the rest of my penis so the overall aspect isn\'t great when Erect (especially when the skin is pulled back). This is a concern, and I hope it\'s not going to get worse (with a possible diminution of Girth, while the lump would stay the same, which would make it even more prominent). I don\'t know if this results from the fact that I am uncut or if it is because my slight Peyronie which made my penis difficult to handle for the Dr.

I don\'t plan to go back for a touch up though : I\'ll try to cope with it, and don\'t wish to undergo another operation for the time being.

Good luck to all of you and long live phalloboard

Try going back just for a Kenalog shot. It works really well

@capital
I\'m cut (as obvious by the pics in my thread) and exhibit a similar scenario. I have an area on the left side of the shaft that is much harder than normal (like a mass of hardened tissue). I had Dr. Casavantes \"break it up\" with the cannula last visit but it did not improve much. Wade suggested a Kenalog injection for my next visit. As I\'m happy with my Girth, I\'m not overly concerned about receiving the Kenalog. What has been your experience with Kenalog injections BDMike?

I did not get a chance to get to TJ for a K shot before my next round on the 11th of April. But the time I had a K shot in-between round 1 and 2 it worked wonders. It was absolutely amazing and if you follow their instructions to not massage or touch the area, it does exactly what its supposed to do. The lump I have now is not as prominent, and if they can break it up this round great. If they cant and its there after this round, then I\'ll go back for the K shot and even it out. But yes, it works well.

Miracle
I too received a kenelog shot. I was nervous!! Worked out Absolutely awesome tho... if you look at one of my post I had a marble size to larger mass bottom side directly below my circ (rd 1). I had the shot and I can\'t even tell it was there....noticeable difference 2-4 days after the shot again ~for me.
