Hi New1inch,
I had penile lengthening and alloderm in 2007 by Dr. Rosenthall, I used only the Grip system for 8 months (no ADS) ---> May be I gained only mild FL but no gain in EL and I lost almost all of the alloderm after 10 months (my
Flaccid diameter went back to 3 cm before my 1st
PMMA injection).
May be some people had great results with alloderm or
Belladerm or DFG and with the lengthening procedure but it was not in my case.
It was mentioned that 50%-100% of these grafts will be absorbed mostly in the 1st year.
So in regard of what you said about 1st
Belladerm and then
PMMA and the reason for that in your opinion is to reduce the no. of
PMMA\'s sessions e.g. from 4 --> 2 sessions :-
\"Im not looking Foward to going back and fourth to Mexico 3-4 times getting this procedure. $2,000 a pop plus hotel and airfare adds up. \"
My answer to that :-
1- The best answer for that is to have the opinion of the guys who had any type of allograft (alloderm or
Belladerm or DFG) before their
PMMA and to ask them would they do it again if they were in your position ? In my case my answer is NO.
2- There is a possibility of loosing almost all of the graft and not always only partial loss in the future so you would need e.g. still 4 sessions of
PMMA. Wouldn\'t that be more costly ?? (+ more risk).
3- The complications of allografts are great if they did happened (severe penile infection, permanent penile shortening, penile deformity and fistula formation esp. if you open the field again even if it was only with a needle insertion and not only with a skin incision).
4- If you ask your doctor this Q. :- If in the future after my
Belladerm I decide to have more
Girth enhancement e.g.
Belladerm or any other material (e.g.
FFT injection) Is there a chance of a higher risk of infection for my old graft?? All of the phalloplastic surgeons are afraid of severe penile infection if they have to go back for more
Girth enhancement, e.g. Dr. Rosenthall insisted NO water coming near to the wound for 3 wks and to take an antibiotic for the same period (the reason for that is obvious he must have seen or heard of penile infection i.e. open wound small or big + allograft + water ---> definitely you will have severe infection).
I have mentioned this story before:- My friend and I had alloderm in 2007 by Dr.R. and after around 10 months we went to Dr. Samy Passy for
PMMA injection I had no complication afterwards but my friend had prolonged oozing from his entry point near the glans and he was so careless he allowed water coming to the wounds ---> severe penile infection ---> surgery for the
Removal of the infected old alloderm and his
PMMA , now he is fine and his
Girth is still bigger than what was his penis before the
PMMA injection i.e. he still has some
PMMA in his penis.
I am not saying that
PMMA has no complication, the answer is NO, but I wouldn\'t combine two products with each other in my penis just for the reduction in the no. of the sessions of
PMMA.
I will advise everyone here who did not have
PMMA and they are so worried about its risk is to wait for at least a year and during that they can follow the progress of the
PMMA penile members and to concentrate on the penile length (without doing any harm to their penis).
