Rhondo,
First round entries at base and gland. Second round at base and midshaft. It seems the doc is refining his technique. First round gains were .3-.5 depending on where I measure. Yes, devolved by Rosenthal....I think its the only way he does it.

Having some swelling and pain issues after round two (at two weeks two days post op), on the right side by the glans. Fearing some slow infection with the Bella, and consulting with Dr C on a daily basis now. Support from him and his office has been outstanding. I\'ll wait to post more until it\'s either resolved or gotten worse-

Soma- Have you consulted any other physician? Are you near a Urologist or Dermatologist that might be familiar with both materials? I wouldn\'t want to be alarmist.. but I would err on the side of caution and have it looked at. Was the swelling always present or did it manifest later? Does it appear to be associated with the mid-shaft injections (I believe you had those?) I have a similiar situation and that is my fear. I am hoping for the best for you and encourage you to consider getting a professional opinion or look into anti-biotics asap. Smartman warned against such an occurence, especially with your bella so new. I\'ll pm you if I get a chance. I\'ll be watching for your progress and wishing you the best for a speedy recovery.

Best of luck Soma, plz keep us posted. We can be of support to you and you can shed some light on any possible complications from PMMA.

I have some pain near the glans due to some bumps from the entry points and I will share my experiences very soon with the board but since the situation is minor at this point, I am not yet alarmed..

Hi soma,
I wish you the best of luck, I do understand your fear in regard of the possibility of Belladerm\'s infection, the best thing you should do is going to a Urologist asap (I know Dr. Rosenthall is your previous treating Dr. so I would have a consultation with him) .
Btw, What was Dr. C.\'s opinion ?

If you don\'t mind I would like to ask you also the following points just to try to help you bro :-

Do you have a high temp. or redness of the skin over the swelling ?Is the type of pain you have throbbing-like ??Does the swelling feel like a fluid inside it (fluctuating when you press it) ?
If these are positive ---> the 1st thing you should do as I\'ve already mentioned above is asap to go to a Urologist ---> I.V. antibiotics, aspiration( but there is a high possibility that the fluid e.g. seroma or pus will reoccur again) Incision and drainage and irrigation with an antibiotic because this is the only thing which can reach, treat and attack the biofilms which is v. difficult to be eradicated by only I.V. antibiotic.

The good thing as I understood from you it is only localized in a particular area and not the whole penis, but don\'t wait.
I will pray for you Soma and I hope you will be fine and happy.

Hi All, I\'ve been very busy moving (murphy\'s law) and don\'t want to comment until I\'m sure what is going on. After 1.5 weeks post op I had swelling/pain return and got a low grade fever (99.5-100 F) which persisted for 7 days. The fever does occasionally come back at night even now, however I think it was/is a coincidental virus at this point. I had no other symptoms (cough or runny nose) other than the crappy feelings associated with fever. Dr C recommended I stop massage and this seems to ameliorate the swelling very slowly. I\'ll post more when I have time. That said, I think I\'m moving in the right direction.

Thanks for the update good friend. I\'m hopeful that you are correct and feel fairly confident that it is coincidental. Any updates from you are always greatly appreciated. You still working out? You\'ve got some amazing quads man! What supplements do you take and what are you feeding those things? LOL

Sending lots of positive energy your way brother. It\'s the flu season right? Focus on gettin healthy and everything will turn out perfect. Mere coincidence I\'m sure. Looking forward to your progress after you move through this, as I know you will! Regards

Probably coincidence, but over the past week I\'ve had an on/off low grade fever. I\'m also producing a lot of phlegm and snot at the moment. No pain or swelling on my penis though. Maybe it\'s just my system reacting to the introduction of foreign material.I\'m taking Vit C and collagen building supplements.

I\'ll provide a detailed post soon, however I\'m still very concerned about the swelling. This experience is very scary compared to my first round and I\'m not completely sure I\'m out of the \"infection\" woods yet. I\'ve had an increase in swelling and pain at the base within the last 24 hours, no fever though. Thank you all for your concern-

3 weeks post op pics. The swelling and redness around the bella scar has come and gone. Most recently it returned after I agressively massaged lumps in that area in a hot tub (44 hours ago). Still very concerned :-(
