Well I\'m back.
9-06-11 Flew into San Diego from the east coast. Stayed at a Marriot. And rented a car.
9-07-11 Had round 1 of
PMMA w/ Dr. C. at 3pm
At 2pm, the driver Juan picked me up from the lobby of my hotel. He was very nice and courteous. His accent is very Americanized. Could not really believe he lives in TJ. Anyway, the shuttle van was very comfortable and the ride to Dr.C. took less than an hour. I was dropped off in front of the highrise building where Dr. C\'s office was located. Got to the eleventh floor and walked into his office lobby. Behind the desk was Christian. Another patient was just leaving. Christian was already expecting me and handed me some paperwork. I pretty much brought them filled out cause he had sent the same paperwork via email. After the paperwork, I forked over the $1640 in travelers checks and cash.
The office was very white and clean. Much on the modern side. Mel came in and brought me back to the procedure room. I was in room #5. There where other rooms with other types of patients. This put me more in ease, seeing that it was not a fly-by night feel. Better than some doc offices here.
So Mel gave me a robe and some booties. Got dressed in a private bathroom connected to the procedure room. Came out and had some pictures taken. Wade came in and we talked about the procedure and how it was sort of interactive. What I wanted and what can be done. Mel gave me a cortizone shot. and a my antibiotic pill with water.
After a little talking with Wade and Mel, Dr. C came in and we talked even more. Basically I did not want anything too crazy. They used 10%. Just hoping for some
Girth and if need be come back again. My biggest worry was that things would look deformed.
The procedure had finally begun. Shots of laticane were put in first. Did not really feel anything. The laticane numbed everything quickly. That did not take long at all. I was just looking up at the ceiling the whole time. Then the
PMMA begun. I did not really feel anything. More of just like a little pushing if that. Hard to explain. But the lack of pain was key. The only freaky thing was the popping sound of when the needle of the
PMMA instrument was going into my penis.
So the procedure was over. Dr. C and Wade helping each other out to make sure things looked very good. Mel right there to assist with anything. Not really sure how long it took. Maybe an hour. I finally looked down and BAM... big fat swollen penis...
HA. Definitely swollen from the procedure, but barely any bruising.
I got up want Mel took more pictures. Wade explained all of the things I had to do. He also bandaged my penis. I\'m a big time retractor. He bandaged it enough so I would not turtle.
All went well and I took the shuttle back. To make things go faster over the border, I got out of the van and walked over the border and the van picked me up right outside on the US side. That killed about two hours of just waiting. Basically crossed over in ten minutes.
Got back to the hotel and unwrapped and measured. I was swollen to about 5.25\" Re-wrapped. Later that evening, did a massage and had a semi
Erection. I could feel some of the beads or something like a ridge towards the C scar. Re-wrapped.
NOW THE EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCE:
I\'ve traveled a lot in my life so things where comfortable in terms of leaving the country. Meeting with Christian, Mel, Wade and Dr. C was awesome. Very comforting and professional. Of course we joked here and there but that is what made things more comfortable. Like I mentioned before, the office was very nice and clean giving me security. There was zero sense of judgement. But lots of encouragement. Of course I was a little nervous when it came to procedure time. But it was more of a happy nervous because I had trust. Popping sound from the needle injections were freaky, but nothing to worry about. Had my arms crossed across my chest for comfort. The only thing that was annoying was the techno europop music in the background. Another added comfort was Juan the shuttle driver. He was extremely nice and professional. Overall, the experience was top notch.
9-08-11 Penis still swollen. Massaged in the morning and re-wrapped. Still had morning wood. Return flight a 2. Before flight, I took of the wrap to go through security. Once passed security, went to bathroom to wrap again. Wanted to make sure
Turtling was not occurring.
9-09 - 9-11 Swelling going down. Still massaging. Wrapping lightly not to turlte. Went to gym and kept things from
Turtling. Bruising is very minimal. Penis is looking like a penis again. Not some crazy balloon thing.
HA. Just waiting for the swelling to totally go down.
SOME ADVICE:
I would fly into San Diego the day before and stay for a couple of days after so not to rush. I used expedia and did the flight+hotel+car. Forget the car and use the money towards another night at the hotel. If I did not do car rental, it would have been under $500 from the east coast, The Marriot had it\'s own restaurant and take out food. But the extra day stay would have given me more comfort.
I\'m not bruising or feeling any pain. Swelling is going down pretty fast. Not sure if it is because I\'ve been taking Arnica a few days prior and continuing.
EXPECTATIONS:
I\'m one of those guys who try not to get to excited about expectations. I\'m hoping for a quarter
Inch if possible in round 1. That may be enough for me. So for now, I just want to see swelling to go away and see my good old penis. I really never measured before, but I will now if I gained. Most likely, I will not measure till six weeks from now. Just going to live my life.
But with more
Girth I hope for more confidence. Back in the dating scene again. Just had a second date with a very nice woman. Planned to see here again next weekend. This will be date number three. Who knows what will happen, but hope my penis will be somewhat back to normal....
