TOPIC: How did you pick your username?

I almost registered with a normal internet nickname/alias I use in other places but I realized people could use cross referencing techniques using search engines. So at the last moment I changed the name to something that had absolutely nothing to do with any other nickname.
The first thing to come to mind that fit the description was buttercups.

And how did u come up with buttercups? It\'s so random.. Lol.. When I see your name, I think of \"Butters\" from South Park.. Lol

For me is just a part of a children\'s riddle that plays on my real name. my name starts with And*****. The normal \"translation\" of my name to English is Andy.. The riddle goes Andy-Dandy- etc etc..

I was listening to Bowie the first time I made an account on a PE site and have used it ever since for these type of boards. Which makes no sense I realize because I am talking about Hunkydory- 10003 means nothing lol. I do have a soft spot for the guy that went by strangerdanger but he is not around anymore.

Mine is pretty self explanatory. When I joined the board I was very much a newbie on the subject. Even after lurking for a couple of months and reading before joining. And I was definitely timid about having a procedure done. But like with just about anything in life, after the first one the \"timid\" part became non existent. Well hell, now that I think about it my username is completely outdated

Nothing to do with PE

I am a Dub (Dubliner) from the south of the city. Like many cities Dublin splits it self into a geographical divide. We have a north and south divide defined by what side of the river you live. You are either a northsider or southsider. There is rivalry between the the sides which leads to daily joking and slagging between the two. The South has more of the affluent suburbs while the North has more of the not so nice areas. 2 years ago my sister caused great shame to my family by marrying and moving to the northsider

Btw if any you PB members are visiting do try and stay in the the south of the city. Joking aside it is nicer and safer for visitors.
