Did surgery, regardless of wether it was PMMA, lengthening or any other procedure actually make you feel better in your skin and boosted your confidence and self esteem.

I am realizing everyday that i may have developed what is some kind of body dysmorphia/small Dick syndrom because i find myself more and more in obsessive thoughts which i guess is not completly uncommon on this forum.

Actually, my self confidence got far worse since i am feeling this lack of size because way to much of my self esteem is attached to it.

I read several articals that claim plastic surgery makes body issues/dysmorphia worse and often corellates with post op thoughts and that is something i really want to avoid.

I know there wont be a right or wrong, and noone can predict safely how surgery is going to affect my mental health ..

What you can tell me though is, if your own mental state improved from plastic surgery (provided there are no complications, obviously a broken Dick is horror).

Appreciate your help

I think this varies from person to person. Everyone has different mental tendencies and personalities. Some are more obsessive, some not so much.

I can tell you that for me, having a Girth enhancement significantly improved my mental state. I went from 5.5~5.7 BPEL and 4.2~4.5 EG to 5.6~6 BPEL and 4.9~5.7 (top to base varies a lot, I have a cone shaped penis if that makes sense). Yes there are imperfections with the squishiness and shape at times. But I would personally never go back to my previous state.

Previously, I would lack confidence and also suffer this "small Dick syndrome" that you mentioned. If you've heard of "big Dick energy", I guess I had "small Dick energy"
if you can get what I mean. I would feel pathetic talking to attractive women; if I would never be able to satisfy them, what the hell was the point of talking with them anyway?

After having the HA procedure, I feel much more confident in daily life and just dont think about my penis as much. Yes I have a larger penis and just dont obsess over it anymore because I now subconsciously that I am "adequate". Its not like I'm going on a rampage trying to bone every single hot girl I see. Just having the sense of added "security" and "comfort" made the procedure well worth it for me. However, after the procedure I also realized that -bar a micropenis- having an average sized penis is completely fine. I now live in a country where the average size of the penis is smaller than those in West/Africa/Latin america and know guys who bone.....excessively. I know for a fact, they are smaller than me, and yet they dont seem concerned about it.

So yes, the procedure can help your mental state, but you also need to train your mind to stop obsessing over it (it's hard I know)

Yes, i agree with you its a lot of mind work to do and self acceptance to gain in the future for me but certainly this is easier to do when you know you are not lacking anything.
Im expecting to lower the strength of my obsessive feelings, so i am more able to bring in the mind work.. and go on to live a healthy life.

Because one thing i am sure that Dick size is not as big of a deal we guys on this forum are making it, it just messes with our head and self esteem.
Edit: im not saying its unimportant, but like you said there are guys smaller than us who are just fine with what they got, would be a lot easier ..
