You raise some pretty good points and concerns. Wow I can\'t believe your GI would say all of that! I think the application of the product is a little bit different though. In the penis it\'s injected between layers of skin tissues, I would think it be less risky then up at the esophagus so close to the trachea and lungs. But definitely concerning! I would think the risk of migration of the beads is pretty nil once collagen has formed around them. But I am no doc.

And wow, I can\'t believe a dermatoligist would refuse a follow up! You would think he of all people would know how to deal with it. Or at least be interested in learning how to deal with PMMA.

I am going to print off some stuff from Dr C\'s site to have on hand for these types of things.

On a side note... I have been very very itchy since day 5 or so of my antibiotics... and the super dose Friday made it worse.

I hope the antibiotics aren\'t stressing my liver too bad.

This also made me realize that I had 4 sessions in under 2 years... along with strep throat and bronchitis, that\'s a lot of antibiotics in my system!

I was thinking of doing a detox soon. Anyone think it would be bad for my PMMA to do so? Like I wouldn\'t want my body to attack the PMMA beads or some crazy shit. haha

I have only told 3 people about my PMMA.

One had snooped through my computer and found tons of bruised, swollen Dick pics so I had to explain. He actually thought it was pretty cool.

Another was a fuck buddy at the time. She actually wanted to go to TJ with me for my next round...

Another was a drunken emotional chat with a close girl-friend of mine. I was a little too drunk and spilled the beans. She totally didn\'t understand why I would go through such a hassle for \"something so silly and meaningless\" but she was supportive at least.

So the general population when you tell them seem to understand. But I would bet in the doctor\'s world it would be a very similar experience to what darkstaff had.

@Darkstaff, maybe plastic surgeons would know more about PMMA and how to deal with it? Just sucks they are so expensive and often charge a lot even for a consultation.

I have broken a lot of those Mags as well. At one time I thought that I had a bad batch of them, too. And like you, I kinda like the idea of the wrapper for the mags better than other brands. The marketing and package designers know this too!

I have wondered if I had this done if I would tell anyone. I don\'t think I would. It just seems like others would think it was weird or stupid to do, or look at me differently. I am glad you have had positive experiences, though.

I\'ve thought about going to a Plastic Surgeon ... but probably best bet for me is to wait it out and sees what happens to my swelling issues.

I\'m going to cold turkey it -- so no Kenalog shots at all... well thats the plan right now.

PMMA does NOT migrate. Many US doctors (for the most part) are not adequately trained in PMMA implantation techniques. When implanted with a micro cannula in the proper subcutaneous/deeper fascia/layer, there is ZERO chance for migration. That\'s like saying that your kidneys could migrate! LOL The microspheres are then encapsulated by macrophages in a foreign body response. This results in a fibrous reaction thus stimulating the formation of new collagen fibers and new vascularization. I know Magnums are the more popular (gold shiny wrappers and rap songs help) but they\'re actually usually the smallest of the larger options from the big brands and come across as more ego boosters for regular size people than what post PMMA people need. Lifestyle and Durex make more adequate large sizes, they have less \'X\'s in the name but they fit.

Also, I understand being hesitant about letting a nurse or doctor get close to your junk, but I think its very unlikely they\'d guess something was strange outside of an extreme aesthetic abnormality. Dicks come in all different looks and they\'re not going to shout \"PMMA Implant\" at a patient after seeing a slight bump or ridge. Any sexual physicals I\'ve had the penis touching is relatively short and light, not thorough enough to detect any PMMA ridges or anything.

First several people I was with after my first round I was scared to let them play around with me when Flaccid for the same fear, and still am a bit when I\'m with someone the first time (especially if guy as they know a bit more), but I think its just paranoia.

jlmb you are right man about the penis touching, it likely wouldnt be too thorough as they are mearly inspecting the skin for issues, not the interior of the penis.
