TOPIC: Next, a big penis transplant!

Reading my previous two posts on testicle enhancements and lengthening surgery reminded me of the fact that penis transplants are possible and have been done already in the past decade. Yes, you read it well. You may find more information here:

This procedure hasnt and isnt likely to become more common for ethical and cultural reasons, as the above example suggests. Cultural because it involves decisions that will have to include judgements on penis size, skin color and sexual orientation of the donor; and ethical because it involves showing how far would the patient and the medical community go to satisfy patients\' egos (and medical doctor\'s pockets).

Think about it: would you have a penis transplant from a recently deceased male whose skin color is very different from yours, to satisfy your quest for biggerness? I am not judging it, I am just posing the question.

I think science\'s best next bet on penis enhacement is not a transplant but a lab-grown penis. They have done it already for a rabbit, it might be available at a clinic near your possibly within half a century

I think the idea is not bad. If the surgery proved to be for the most part successful I don\'t see why not. Like statements above, Women enhance every part of there body.

^^^^^ This pisses me off to no end! A woman thats an \"A\" cup can walk in & receive a \"C\" cup tiits w/o any problems as long as she has the money or can finance the surgery. Us men dont have any options as easy as women do.

However, I hope in the next few years we can use our own stem cells to grow our \"ideal\" penis in a lab.

I think if this becomes an actual options (after ethical issues resolved), it most likely will be treated as any other transplant or a boob job. I know I would look at it as another option to PMMA and so on. It will be a very expensive surgery so not every one will be able to afford it, so again it will be like any other cosmetic surgery...

Wow thats really interesting reading. Well I vote yes. If I had the choice between a stump and a donor penis I\'d take the donor unit. I wouldn\'t care what color it was. Thats a simple sex or no sex question. It becomes a little more complicated when you ask if one would trade his current functional unit for another. I think if the procedure were common and there was a high number of successful procedures in the books then yes it is a reasonable option. Although in that situation I\'d be more picky about the size, shape, and color. Hahahaha anyone else? Or am I just that messed up?
