TOPIC: Any Advice on Growing Facial Hair?

I found a website selling a beard growth lotion of some kind that looks like a scam.

Let me point to the website. I won\'t link to it directly because then they\'ll see us commenting on them and they might be able to improve their con game. Google the following: \"This is THE ONLY GUIDE you'll ever need to change that\". \"Include the quotation marks. It should be the first search result. This is fake, right?

Does anyone know of a medication that actually grows facial hair naturally? Has anyone tried facial hair transplants? Does it look natural? Is it worth a shot?

(I have no idea if I put this in the correct category. Maybe this topic doesn\'t belong here. But I think a lot of you guys care about this subject as much as I do.)

I wanted to check in and return the favor since this board has been so helpful. All of you were right. I\'ve been using Minoxidil 5% for only six days and I\'m already starting to see whiskers on my cheeks where there used to be none. It\'s way too early to call it a success, but so far so good.

I use minoxidil 3% and it works. I only apply it in the evening.

I have used Minoxidil 5% for an year now. It works. I also noticed side effects like beating faster, at the gym or during sex. I use it with breaks.
If you want faster growth you can see a hair specialist. I used one with 12% Minoxidil, sold by hair doctor. It also has tretinon added by his pharmacy and results are supposed to be better than 5%. I didnt use that for longer duration, since the skin becomes extremely dry. With 5%, twice a day skin itchiness wasnt a problem. There are dozens on youtube channels on \"Minoxidil beard \".

I also noticed the testosterone benefit ..but that works on all body and facial hair.

Hey alphnyb, I revisited that Reddit link, thought about it more, and I think maybe you guys might onto something. I didn\'t really know what Rogaine was beyond the superficial because I still have a full head of hair. I\'ll look into Minoxidil as well. If it works on the scalp, why not the face as well?

I have a friend who mentioned increased facial hair growth (but not a full moustache or beard) after taking testosterone because he found out his levels were low. I appreciate the reminder. I\'ll look into it.

It\'s not FDA approved for this purpose, and there\'s no scientific studies behind it, but there is a lot of anecdotal evidence that Minoxidil (Rogaine) 5% foam/liquid applied twice daily grows facial hair just as it does head hair. I\'ve been using it for about 9 months and have started to see some very modest growth.

Minox 5%, 12% if you can tolerate the dryness and if you can get it.
Lifting weights at least 5 times a week, eating high protein low carb food, mostly natural..and good sleep.
Multivitamins, Biotin, Creatine.
All these have helped me..not only facial hair but hair all over my body.
