TOPIC: Straight radiesse?

Straight radiesse? 1 month 1 week ago #1308725267

I’ve been looking extensively in Canada for a long lasting enlargement without going south for PMMA. The current hybrid seems to nail it as far as esthetics but it seems longevity is rare and it is a costly procedure. Could this not be done with just the Radiesse and see similar longer lasting results to Ellense?

I can’t recall if you ever had treatment with me but I do remember chatting with you on this platform.

I originally started penile augmentation with exclusively Radiesse but it really required repeated treatment to establish meaningful bulk. Ever since I started using the hybrid blend of Radiesse + HA, the need for a top up was delayed because we could establish more bulk in one sitting.

In terms of longevity, I’ve had 3 patients return after 32mos with retained girth compared to baseline. Most patients, however, return sooner because they like to build gradually or just top off to counter any volume losses.

My prices in Canada are reasonable compared to NYC prices. Cost of goods is less expensive here and your USD impart nearly a 30% discount when compared to the CAD.

$7500 USD for 10mL is a fair price in NYC. Compared that to $4500 CAD at my practice which equates to $3200USD. It’s quite reasonable to make the trip to see me in Canada and top off periodically.

Thank you for the reply dr Leonardo. Tone clear, no I have not had treatment with you. I have followed closely due to your good aesthetic results but have hesitated due to the reports of patients losing gains very quickly. You also have some who have t
Retained gains much longer. I guess I am inquiring it straight Radiesse has the potential to last longer but as you point out with less gain than HA. For example with random numbers for ease of $5000 of the hybrid gets an Inch of Girth but on average it’s substantially gone in a year is it possible that $5000 of straight Radiesse could get less gain (for random example say .5 Inch) but have it last much longer?

Straight up Radiesse will not last longer than the hybrid. The longevity of the hybrid is due to Radiesse so they will last a similar amount of time. You will end up spending twice the amount of money to achieve girth with just Radiesse alone compared to the hybrid.

I’m uncertain why you think the hybrid doesn’t last very long. The main criticism on this platform came from someone who offered zero evidence that “all of his filler was gone”. This was coming from a patient that was having sex while he was swollen and against my medical advice to avoid sex and masturbation for 2 weeks. He was losing product while the entry sites were still patent. Furthermore, I provided photos and measurements that refute this claim as he was bigger than his baseline even 9 months after his last session even though he thought it was all gone.

If you look on my website, I have a gallery of photos demonstrating retention after various amounts of times. This is typically when patients return for top up. They are usually still bigger than their baseline.

I appreciate that you like the aesthetics of my work. My hybrid blend is part of the story. In the hands of other providers, outcomes will naturally vary. It comes down to the technique and eyes. Anyone can make a penis bigger but making it look and feel natural is the challenge.

I'm not throwing shade at another patient's story or refuting it but I will add that, regardless of who did the procedure, a big component is a patient's perception over time. Over time your mental baseline resets and if you do have some loss, you view it as significant even though you're actually still above your prior dimensions. I know this is true for me and a lot of people.

That said, I've never actually noticed any real loss per say with any type of product I've ever received between sessions when I look back at where I was prior to the previous one.
