Hello-Came across some posts that really suprised me. First of all, I realize many people on this board have had some very bad outcomes, but I thought this was a fair and open board for all types of Phalloplasty. When I see a Physician who does FFT and gets on this board and gets trashed, I think that is unfortunate. You can disagree with what they say,but why not have an intelligent conversation. I didnt realize that someone who has had another procedure besides PMMA or HA would be called an idiot or have a low IQ. I just paid for a membership...Are my posts not welcomed? As far as I know, I\'m the only one who has had FFT RECENTLY, who is on this board. I may be wrong..but I havent seen any posts (except for Jeph..who I dont even know exists-never messaged me back). I think its great to hear input from Dr Oates, Casavantes etc...they seem to be excellent doctors. And yes, if I was closer I might get PMMA. My concern is that any doctor who does FFT/stem cell is shunned from this board...More specifically, I saw where Dr Ibrahim posted a while back stating that the best filler is your own fat and platelet rich plasma...why say \"either you know nothing about Phalloplasty or you have a very low IQ\"or \"do you also believe the world is flat\"..this is unacceptable!! tell him why FFT is not good and your experiences!!!!No doctor who does FFT is going to go on this board with this kind of response!!!Since I have had this done twice(and yes I have an above average IQ-I am a pharmacist and have a college degree).I would like to hear from other members who have had this done recently and it would be helpful to hear from doctors who do this..I didnt realize: \"this forum exists because fat injection doesnt work\"quoted from post...I am hesitant to continue posting on this board....I think the vast majority of posts have been very helpful and respectful. There is no perfect procedure, and everyone deserves the same respect..Probably some think Im an idiot for going the fat transfer route, but I dont really care..just trying to get the most information I can about different procedures in a postive, respectful way..Thank you

Hey wc44 - I didn\'t realize you were getting trashed and agree with everything you wrote, and not entirely sure what posts you are talking about. But, I would hope you keep on posting your results. If you don\'t, the info one this board becomes self-selecting and everyone is talking everyone else into the same procedures. A lot of people who are lurking more than posting - which is totally fine - probably want to know someone log FFT and prp results.

To be fair Wildcat, I did send you a PM that said:

\"Thanks for your contribution to the forum, your participation is appreciated.\"

99% of members don\'t get that sort of message from me. So it\'s not as if you just get negative feed back.

Also it\'s not as if the Dr\'s you mentioned get trashed without good reason. Dr Maercks actually created a false account pretending to be a perspective patient. That\'s completely dishonest and shows him to be incredibly untrustworthy. He also asked Jeph to post and if you read Jeph\'s posts, you will see big inconsistencies. So surely you can understand why we don\'t really have any time for him. As for Dr Ibrahim, very little is known about him and we only have 2 of his patients that post here. 1 is you and the other doesn\'t feel comfortable telling his story yet, but I promise you, it\'s up there with the worst of PE horror stories.

But in general I think there is a reluctance to be more open minded about FFT because for the last 25 years we\'ve been told how methods have improved etc, etc, yet results still seem as inconsistent as ever. It just doesn\'t make any sense that a consistent permanent fat transfer technique exists, as if it did, the cosmetic filler industry wouldn\'t exist. Why would anyone ever get HA etc, if they could just have their own fat transferred? FFT can work and I know of some excellent results. I\'ve even suggested some members try it first. But I get more PM\'s about FFT (due to my history with it) than any other subject and most of the time it\'s about getting it removed.

from a business standpoint, HA\'s r highly profitable for us and the ease makes it possible to do many procedures throughout the day. the FFT procedure would take too much time and ultimately HA\'s r reversible.

Any doctor who does FFT/stem cell is shunned from this board -- nobody should be shunning anyone. I feel bad for how DarkStaff was treated, honestly. I missed the thread you are talking about WC.

Also, from my point of view, stem cell research in the next 50 years will yield the biggest break throughs in medical advancement for curing disease, healing, and overall quality of life that we ay have ever seen. The PRP may not give dramatic size gains, but as you can see from the PMMA folks, it dramatically improves healing time and probably does a bit for blood flow and overall health of the \'organ\'.

As far as for Phalloplasty- in 50 years it will only exist for poor people because of the future of genetic modification .. mid and upper class will be able to select a checkbox their doctor gives them including gender, eye color, hair color (hair loss gene removed), height, build.. penis size check this box for 8inch plus.
Only a matter of time.

I realize this is an 'old' thread but I just saw this comment by Wildcat44 and I totally agree with him.
