TOPIC: Injecting flaccid vs erect

Injecting flaccid vs erect 6 years 1 month ago #1305731224

Thank you for your answers Dr Oates. Very valuable.

Have you experienced cases where a mild case of Phimosis in a patient had a negative effect on the result of the procedure or on the aesthetics? I guess that if you have a tight phimotic band this will only get more pronounced with an enlargement. This could cause problems, especially when pulling the skin back making the phimotic band squeeze the upper penile shaft.

Also, how is it progressing with training doctors in the UK?

Actually that is pretty close to what we now do. I will most often now inject Flaccid, but some like Glam I will do the initial injection Erect. The most common reason to go Erect is shrinkage where it is to difficult to get the full length. Sometimes it works well to followup with Erect if they notice an irregularity that is not so obvious Flaccid.

Injecting whilst Erect doesn\'t sound pleasant though does it???

This seems to be the same on the \"Bellafill and HA in missouri\" thread, I can\'t see the pics, but he mentions that it\'s \"stuck in the position of the Flaccid\", which does not sound good to me! Someone right after that expressed interest in this dr, and didn\'t ask about it, so maybe from the pics its not that bad? dunno... I definitely plan on having this discussion with Morganstern.

This is my situation. My Erect looks 10x worse than Flaccid.

think wrote: Thanks man. Obviously Dr Oats and Dr C both know WTF they are doing... so that tells me there is merit to both approaches, so why not combine them!

Anyway, thanks for your info, and one more question... you said recovery to no signs of swelling, bruising, etc was 2.5 - 3 weeks.... did you get any word on a) how long after the procedure you can have sex, and b) how long after you can workout, like lift weights, jog, etc... is it the same 2-3 weeks?

thanks.

Post Care: we advise patient's to keep the area clean for a week, avoid sexual activity for 3 days (and unprotected anal sex for 7 days), shower daily and after exercise, take any prescribed medications and follow our post-care instructions carefully.

The above from Dr Oates\'s FAQ

Never ever heard of Dr C doing that....Cialis dosnt work that way anyway unless he is giving you a handy while injecting. Cialis or flowmax for post procedure can help with Turtling too much though.

With PMMA you have 3 days (roughly) to manipulate the material, massage it, etc. So, yes, there is plenty of time for that.

Ah, I think I saw that Dr C also prescribes Cialis, so I guess its to facilitate erections during this process.

From what I saw, I would think that any injection while Erect with a cannula would be very difficult (to avoid damage) unless one has a perfectly straight Erection. With a bunch of needle insertion points, then perhaps that is not an issue, although that sounds horrid. But can you imagine trying to insert a straight cannula from one insertion point along a fixed skin depth through the length of a curved hard banana? Seems impossible. I'm not a doctor though.
