Almost all people are suitable for augmentation with PMMA. PMMA microspheres are biologically inert and should be well tolerated by most people. Possibly a few individuals (0.1%) may react to PMMA. However, suitability for PMMA augmentation is also dependent on the vehicle that the PMMA is suspended in.

I had a smooth finish( still not smooth BTW and I need to go back again for more touch-ups) with this product. I think it was around 5cc worth. Jan 2017. The area near the top left of the penis has harder clump where many injection sites were. It isn\'t painful or showing signs of skin problems. I\'m definitely concerned now. I was considering getting the glans done but that seems very dangerous since how would they remove it from there if a bad reaction occurred. The Balls filled with seems way to risky as well. 3% is not worth the risk in my opinion.

Good idea for a thread. I didn't have any when my procedure was done, but I'm concerned regardless. Seems like a bit of carelessness on Dr. C's end.

A 3% failure rate is too high for something that is not necessary. And why wouldn't people be tested for an allergy to silicon before it was done?

I've had 2 rounds of Silkon 1000 - about 3CC in both 2016 and 2017.

Where did the 3% estimate come from? That's an incredibly important detail which others have been quick to accept without source.

Is it an estimate from a surgeon who mainly deals with silicon complications? If so thats a rather bias sample and likely to be very small sample size.

Ideally it would be peer reviewed research with decent sample size but I can't find such a thing. Let's remember also that there should be a distinction between silicone injection where the product moves freely compared with microdroplet technique where each droplet is incased by collagen.

I notice that this treatment is popular and well reviewed in The States. This guy does a lot of silikon 1000 treatments in the face. He's based in NJ and is very well reviewed on Realself:

Man I really feel for Miracle and its very good of him to keep our knowledge base here up to date during such a difficult time.

Silicone micro droplets are a permanent form of of cosmetic filler. There is a inherent risk with any cosmetic filler. The benefit to Silicone 1000 is that it is permanent off setting the cost of refills and touch up etc. In the USA its still appears to marketed as a off label use for cosmetic procedures. I couldn\'t find any current statistics on the exact risk other than various case studies with documented reactions to silicone micro droplets. So there is a risk one I noted is that as people age and the skins thins there is increased risk of reactions. My speculation is that as the epidermis and dermis thins as we age the silicone droplets are closer to surface increasing the risk of inflammation/infection thus reaction. It seems that use of silicone micro droplets is up to Doctor and the patient. My other take on the use of silicone for cosmetic procedures is that just a roll of the dice depending on how body reacts to silicone weather micro drops or injections.

Thanks to the guys participating in this thread. It would be REALLY nice if the Doctor himself could comment on this matter. Doctor, if you see this, please chime in.

For the guys who have had silicone in the glans.

What\'s your plan?

What are your options?

There are none, best thing you can do is to make sure you have enough money set aside to see a top doctor incase it goes wrong, same goes for those who've had it in their nutsack.

It would be a good idea to have your sperm frozen at an IVF clinic if you've had it in your nutsack, if you plan on having kids in the future.

Tried to read up about it today. I have not had silikon. Only PMMA. It seems that in most cases problems occur quite quickly as in the first 3 months. Basically an allergic/rejection thing. It can however occur anytime. Not found any sources claiming 3% complication rate. An alergic reaction can occur from PMMA also I would assume, but not sure. Thinking about it one should have a small amount of any filler injected in the tigh or arm to see if you get a bad reaction. Then it would be easier to treat/cut it out if you react badly.

I think if you'll have a reaction to it it will probably happen immediately, probably because silicone doesn't surround itself with collagen, or at least to the extent that PMMA does, so people who've had it for a year shouldn't worry too much.
When I was a kid I had alergic reaction to elastic plasters and it happened almost immediately, it was horrible, wouldn't wish that to happen to my Cock.

Over 3 sessions I have 6 or 7 units of silikon MDs\' - plus glans done.

George7- you had Dr. N, correct? I think this is a Dr C thing. He uses it as part of his procedure. I will bet over the last 2 years if you got work from Dr C, he used MD\'s.

Not to bash, I love the guy. It just is what it is.

The MD\'s \'stick to places\' where the PMMA wont. For example a ridge or a dent is a perfect place to place them, because they are more exact. They do not move.

Under the glans as well as they won\'t pool like PMMA and cause the Cobra skin effect.

Yes. Dr N so only 10% Metacrill. What is the actual complication rate? Can not find 3% number and also a bit worrying that Dr C now goes with 10% PMMA or voluma according to Miracles thread. I always knew the chance of alergic reaction, but always believed it was like 1 in several 1000, but can not remember Where I read about this.

They speculate (very much speculate) 3% for the silicone, Geroge.

PMMA allergic rate is an uknown. I think......someone want to chime in here?

Unhung you need to start adding something to the conversation/topic. If you have non related questions to the topic go read the users progress report or PM them. A bit annoying, sorry.

If the forum rules are i can only ask the op questions in response to his post i apologize but to say im not adding anything and its unrelated is just not true. all my post are on topic with the person i am asking the questions to
