TOPIC: Is FFT a Viable Option?

Is FFT a Viable Option? 6 years 9 months ago #1303090518

FFT has a reputation of causing poor cosmetic outcomes with lumps, bumps, and irregularities as a significant amount of fat reabsorbs in the weeks, months, to years following a procedure. I was wondering if the newer techniques have made this a more viable procedure or is this still all marketing bullshit?

Anyone with experience with FTT, either the new or old procedures?
What was your experience? Are you satisfied with the feel, gains, and aesthetics?

Hello , My experience was not the best based on the cost of the procedures and complications . Initially I was happy with the Girth gains from the first procedure in the summer of 2016. However , The aesthetics were not the best until I had it worked on again by another doctor 6 months later. February/March of 2017. I was very pleased after second procedure . Good gains and aesthetics looked good....Bottom line..I got lumps after first procedure and an excess amount of fat settled in Foreskin. Restylane 2cc was used to improve aesthetics..which it did to some degree. Then next doctor in February covered lumps (two small ones) with fat..and everything looked great. 100 percent satisfied. But I've spent over $20,000 between two doctors. Since then most of fat reabsorbed from second procedure and lumps visible again and large Nodule appeared at base. Finally , lumps are gone after seeing Dr Morganstern. So all in all. Yes .. lumps and reabsorption a problem. ..Dr Morganstern was only doctor I talked to that. Seemed confident about lumps being removed. If I had to do over I wouldn't use most of the doctors that do fat transfer. I would consider using Morganstern . It may not be perfect, but at least I know he knows how to deal with lumps if they occur. Also, with fat transfer I wouldn't use anyone other than a board certified Urologist.. That's just me. I wouldn't use anyone who wasn't board certified as a plastic surgeon or a Urologist. I didn't do enough checking

Wildcat, thank you for sharing your experience. Did you at least retain the Girth from your first FFT procedure? If so, why do you think you retained the fat from that procedure and not the second procedure?

If you could roll back the clock, would you do FFT again or would you do Voluma?

Yes. Most of Girth from first procedure still there at 6 months . EG went from 4.75 to 5.5-5.75..then to 6 -6.25fir a few months after second round . A lot more fat was used the first time (over 100cc). whereas second time only about 10cc plus 2cc PRP. Only other difference I know of was the fat was processed differently. no centrifuge the first time whereas second time a centrifuge kit was used..

hey wildcat, I am considering going to Morganstern. I am about 5.25-5.5\" in Girth and 6\" in length. Based on your experience would you go with him for a first procedure? Also, is there a serious exercise regime that needs to be followed post surgery?

Wildcat - what is your Erect length? I feel like for best result I\'m going to go after the EG. I also have wife and kids so don\'t necessarily have a lot of time post surgery for pumping and such, but can make the time to a reasonable commitment

Seeing him again this month (3rd time) after first visit to get lumps removed (from previous procedure from other doctor) ,2nd visit to get tests for E.D problems I've experienced since previous 2 Phalloplasty procefures(I didn't have an issue before procedures -Cialis or viagra worked fine- but have no effect now) ...next visit he will go over recommendations and what he found from his tests. Will talk more about his procedures once I get other issue resolved(I hope)
