TOPIC: puregraft

Has anyone on this board seen Dr Capriotti at Texas Phalloplasty Institute? The office says he doesn't use PRP with FFT and that he uses puregraft instead of a centrifuge to process fat . They claim that 98 percent of patients do not get lumps and there is much less fat reabsorption. Apparently he does a lot of FFT procedures but I can't find anyone on PhalloBoards who has used him. I'm more than likely using Dr Mata to get voluma 10cc to cover up lumps from previous FFT but am interested in keeping up with latest FFT procedures from different doctors So far DrMata is only doctor recommending HA instead of FFT with me based on last 2 procedures...I'm getting opinions from Maercks,Ibrahim&Morganstern also. I've already spent too much $ and wife is upset .. and says she'll be really upset if I have a procedure that screws things up more..My last procedure has to be right choice. Wish I had discovered this board earlier and did more research PMMA not an option for me in Mexico

I don\'t think you\'ll have luck finding anyone who used him. I looked into puregraft after seeing it mentioned in a post by LatinLog in a Morgenstern thread. I saw that Capriotti used it. Also saw a study comparing puregraft and not seeing much difference, however this was for breast augmentation:

Another very recent paper I linked in the above mentioned thread discussed advances in FFT over the years, and it seems that technique is everything. That being the case, it would make sense to talk to someone like Morganstern or Giunta who have done many. Please let us know what Morganstern has to say if you speak to him.

For many people getting to Mexico for pmma for multiple rounds might not be an easy option. A comment by hoddle10 a while ago about possibly doing a couple rounds FFT then possibly 1 round of pmma for some correction got me thinking about that as an option. I would like to hear more opinions on that from people who tried lots of options. For example HD mentioned the opposite--correcting an area where the pmma didn\'t go in well with silicon, and noticing a different texture in that area, softer than the pmma... I\'m wondering what the implications would be using pmma after a couple of FFT rounds.

They are in the UK, but their description sounds pretty honest. They seem to think puregraft is superior, but still talk about 50 percent survival, and the need for 3-4 procedures.

Interested in talking to Morganstern in person. I thought the P shot would increase the quality of erections and maybe a little more size but not seeing I it. The fact he claims that many ED problems he sees are the result of P shots and how they can damage penis concerns me. Since he is a well known Urologist who does a lot of procedures and specializes in Peyronie's disease I m interested to see what he has to say. Also,want to know more about lengthening procedure he does without cutting ligament. Will probably do what he recommends whether fat or filler. Atlanta is not that far from me. Plus my local Urologist knows him. and will probably have to get someone to sign off before any surgery.

I did a PureGraft FFT to the face today. The fat graft quality looks excellent and the technology and understanding of successful FFT seems to have come a long way. Not sure if I want to put it into a penis, but there is a surgeon in Sydney who claims to have done 30 with good results.
