Where do they even put the pmma? 7 years 3 months ago #1302691198

It just goes in between bucks and Dartos fascia. Bucks is very stiff, whereas dartos is thin and easy to pierce with a needle and go through with a cannula. It ultimately will stick to the Dartos fascia and may interfere with its normal function (lymphatic drainage) causing post-sex swelling and a general swollen look. Dartos and the skin are very hard to separate. To truly remove it, you can dissect the nodules off dartos sometimes - but sometimes you have to excise the skin and dartos to get the PMMA out if it is a Nodule. In a deglove, they would be able to carve it all out, in theory... at least that is what Dr. Alter does. My doc just cut chunks of it out in a \"reverse\" deglove (he went in through my scrotum). I still have some PMMA in there but he cut out a lot at the base where it was very hard and jagged.

My ED was caused by stupidity really. I was using very tight rings for quite forceful sex, and pushing myself through the pain sometimes. Think i bent my penis a lot with it under immense pressure of the ring, which probably damaged some valves. Don\'t ask me why i put myself through that... i\'m a pretty sexually troubled individual lol.I\'ve made some odd decisions in my time

Although they can cause thrombosed veins, they resolve of their own accord as there isn\'t constant pressure applied. The vein will clear. Very rarely that it does not.

You also have to consider that there is a clump of PMMA around the vein, you can feel it, it\'s not even where the ring pplies pressure.

The PMMA will not have invaded the circulatory system, certianly not by itself and it\'s unlikely with the use of a cannula.

Good thinking though. I\'ve gone through this thought process.

Sorry they caused ED for you.......

Unless you\'re suggesting that it pushed the vein into the PMMA even above the ring position. This is a possibility. You could be right enough.

Ahh right apologies mate, my bad, fair enough....i read over your posts a while ago and had it in my head you were using them while your PMMA was still fresh. Should probably have checked over them for clarity before writting all that lol.I\'ll be looking forward to your updates Hopefully it\'s positive stuff for you from here on.

I think the idea is that there are superficail strutures, vascular system and nerves to contend with.

ARe you thinking about getting it out?

So if it goes just under skin it should be easily to deglove lumps? cut skin and remove lump but why is it so hard in reality?

Which was probably a big mistake, unknown to him at the time, understandably. A mistake many people could make. I hope the guy recovers. He certainly didn\'t deserve that complication. I\'ve done a lot of Clamping and cockring stuff in my time, and it can lead to pretty thrombosed and irritated veins(especially if you use them for sex), i actually think i have given myself some venous related long lasting ED from using them during sex. Add using these things a long side PMMA that is still forming and hardening around your Cock, it can potentially be a recipe for disaster. I would not use anything like this(probably ever again) And at worst, not until months have passed, and the PMMA is properly walled off from the rest of my tissues. I honestly think the cockring was a major culprit toward the guys problems, and essentially turned the PMMA against his vein. Rather than the PMMA invading his circulatory system by itself

I\'ve a very noticable dorsal vein of the penis, never thought something so bad can happen.

Do any of you guys had any issue with PMMA and dorsal vein?

So far this seems to be the only reported case to my knowledge
(in all these years)

How does this happen? Just superbad luck? I mean putting pmma in the area is normal, isn\'t it?? Doc puts pmma on whole sides and top of penis (not on underside, to not block urethra)?

When I had my second round with Dr C he put it under my first layer. Any low spots or imperfections he applied above the first layer. I\'m about two weeks post op, very smooth finish finish no irregularities so far. I wonder why Dr N goes on top? Did you ask her at the time.

I watches while Dr N did second round. It goes over the last round, between skin and \'meat\' of the penis.

Interesting. It seems like a small target
And only on top and sides, to not get in the way of the urethra.

That\'s something i also wonder about.
Is it \'on top\' of the \'settled pmma\', or is it somewhere in there.
I would have guessed it\'s on top, because it\'s soft on the top after the injections.
