My Nodule feels hard and whilst not a perfect sphere by any means, like a little ball, maybe like half a grain of rice. I think they happen as a result of filler dripping out the end of the cannula after the injector has finished in the area. So a little drop of filler ends up on it\'s own, though still attached to the rest. That\'s probably not the most coherent or accurate description, but it\'s hard to make sense of these things!
I really think I have 2 small areas where scar tissue formed during the inflammation process, not \"nodules\". They are rubbery, not hard, and I seriously think they are integrated into the surrounding tissue, nothing that I could cut out as described. I have read that hypertrophic scaring can happen from dermal fillers at 2-6 weeks, and these became evident around 2-3 weeks. The dmso might have very slightly softened it ... but I\'ve only used it a little over a week, 1-2 times a day. I\'m going to try 3 times a day for at least another month. I\'ve increased it to 90 percent as I had no irritation yet.
