TOPIC: Recommendations for Korean Clinics

Recommendations for Korean Clinics 8 years 1 month ago #1293629074

Hi guys,

First post here. Incredibly glad I found such an informative site recently with members who are knowledgable, supportive and helpful on this often confusing subject matter.

After reading quite a number of posts, I wonder anyone can recommend trustworthy Korean clinics/doctors for Girth enlargement injection from experience? I am considering Korea over Mexico/Europe/Australia mainly due to distance and cost concerns. I\'m also planning a modest Girth enlargement from 4\' to 5\' (Erect). Still undecided to do PMMA or just HA.

In this forum I\'ve seen mentions about Dr. Cho and Dr. Kim. Some specific questions about them:1. What is Dr. Cho\'s reputation? I\'ve seen reports on him in the forum but they are mostly neutral. Does he perform HA injections as well?

2. Does Dr. Kim offer purely HA injections? There have been reports of unpleasant effects for the MegaFill, but is it the same with HA injections? Are there any more reputable clinics in Korea that I could choose from as well? I can speak in fluent English and passable Mandarin (Chinese), but cannot communicate in Korean. Many thanks in advance,

clueless2

If I were you, I\'d either go to Dr. C in Mexico or Dr. Oates in Australia. They both use a microcannula to apply it and both have multiple progress reports (Dr. C has applied thousands of PMMA implants by now so he has experienced hands but probably hasn\'t done much HA (but will if you ask him), and Dr. Oates is the most experienced in terms of applying HA to the penis and has multiple progress reports on here). It sounds like you may be closer to Oates, if you\'re in the Far East?

Australia is definitely better than Mexico for HA for the simple reason that it\'ll need to be reinjected once every few years (I imagine). The current quoted costs for Dr Oates gives me pause though. If only the HA injections can last longer...

Thanks for the detailed reply!

After looking a bit more into the Korean plastic surgery business in general, it does seem pretty shady. Without good and reliable info on the docs or clinics there, I am now pretty wary of the practices there. I have ruled out PMMA in korea as of now -- too risky and Lipen is a filler with very limited research on. If I do decide on PMMA, Dr C seems to be a wiser choice.

I am emailing any clinics I can get my hands on for HA injections: it seems there is less of a chance of a permanent botched procedure. I\'m asking what types of HA they use as well -- it seems pointless to have a low quality HA injected only to require further injections in 6-12 months. One or two clinics have claimed to use Juvederm (probably obtained at a much lower price) but still waiting for replies on that.

Unsanitised hands is a major issue for me though -- if what you\'ve said is true, it could increase chances of infection significantly.

Anyway I\'m genuinely sorry to hear that your Korean experiences have been bad, and I will take your words with much weight and consideration before proceeding further.

After searching the web for more information (with the help of Google Translate), there are at least 5 more clinics that offer penis girth enlargement procedures:http://www.egclinic.co.kr/sub/sub01_01.php
www.uroplus.co.kr/clinic2/clinic2_01.htm
www.gclinic.co.kr/html/counsel4.htm
enjoyuro.com/man/man0205.php
www.good-clinic.co.kr/man_clinic_01.htmlIt appears glans enlargement procedures are commonly offered in Korea as well, although I am not interested in it at the moment. Sadly none of the sites offer English. If there are any Korean speakers out here, I\'d appreciate your help a lot in offering more information about the clinics mentioned above.

Userdeleted wrote: I would not recommend Dr. Cho. I found him to be dishonest and I and another member on this board got necrosis in our glans due to his procedures and his lies. He looked me in the eyes and lied to my face that he had not seen complications in 4 years.

Dr. Kim is the only other doctor there that I\'m informed about, and if I had to choose, I guess I\'d go see him. Then again, Kim has given me bad advice before in the past as well. But I\'d still choose him over Cho in a heartbeat. I think he\'s a little more conservative in what he\'s willing to try - just a little. Dr. Cho doesn\'t even wear surgical gloves when he does your procedures - he goes in bare handed with dirty fingernails. Who knows, maybe Kim does too - maybe it\'s a Korean thing (if so, they need to get with the fucking times).

To be honest though, for the best treatment I\'d just stay the fuck out of Korea. It\'s your dick - the most priceless part of your life, your being and your anaotomy - suck it up and put up the extra couple thousand (more likely, less than that) and travel farther if you can afford it. If you\'ve got the money for HA (it\'s expensive), then you should have the money to take this critical precaution (not going to Korea). Korea is not the place for phalloplasty right now. ESPECIALLY if you can\'t communicate in Korean. Not speaking the native language is flat out dangerous, as I have experienced first hand. You can\'t even visit a Korean forum to read about the results of their customers, unlike Dr. C in Tijuana and Dr. Oates in Australia. This type of info is PRICELESS. You also can\'t discuss the subtleties and nuances of what you want your outcome to look like. Sure, Cho and Kim speak a little (teeny) bit of english (they\'re more sed with writing and reading it), but trust me - I\'ve been there. A LOT of understanding will slip through the cracks. Please don\'t brush this off - I feel this advice is some of the most important you\'ll ever receive here. The odds of you having complications or a bad result are exponentially higher if you choose to go to Korea.

Thank you for your advice -- it really got me reconsidering whether to go to Korea. The language barrier could be a major issue, and the limited case reports available in Korea that I can understand is barely sufficient to allow me to make an informed decision.

The major upside for me when considering Korea is I could easily get there to have follow-up visits if anything goes wrong. Taking flight time into consideration it might even be possible to get in and out of Korea the same day. With healthy demand of the procedure in Korea (I presume), their experience should be acceptable as well, at least in theory. I have some further questions on your (or those you\'ve heard) experience in Korea though:

1. Did you also inject into the shaft for your visit with Dr. Cho? Did that result in any complications (not the glans: I understand the glans would be a riskier part to inject)?

2. Have you had any personal experience with Dr. Kim?

3. You mentioned Dr Kim is \'more conservative with what he\'s willing to try\' -- does that mean his injection methods are safer than Dr Cho or that the range of procedures he offers are less risky?

I wouldn\'t be too concerned about the surgical gloves thing: if it\'s a subcutaneous injection only with no open incision (and potential for bodily fluid contact), I\'m fine with not having gloves.

Welcome to the board clueless 2. I\'m sure you\'ll get the answers that you\'re looking for on this board. However, I just wanted to add a little insight into your thread. I certainly wouldn\'t call 1\" Girth modest. There is a dramatic difference when you go from 4 to 5, and it\'s definitely not a modest difference to your partner(s). Additionally, for that kind of increase you have to plan on the possibility of having two, maybe even three, sessions.

I\'m definitely planning on follow up sessions from what I\'ve heard about nodules and other aesthetic complications from the forum. This is precisely the reason why Korea is an attrative location as it would be convenient to travel there if anything does go wrong.

By \'modest increase\' I was just referring that I\'d just seek for measurements in line with the general population, not implying 1\' is not a large and noticable increase (if it\'s not noticable why I am getting it in the first place right?)

Thanks for your response though!
