The full-text article is available for free. He uses fat grafting which I wouldn\'t do. But he makes an interesting point about composite phalloplasty. It\'s interesting that the amounts of fat he injects seem very large at times, e.g. 60 cc. That sounds a lot to me. There is also a curious case of a man who had this done and then he went on to gain a big amount of weight and his dick literally blew like a balloon. If fat is grafted properly - and he is world famous for his grafting technique so he knows what he is doing - then the transplanted fat becomes live tissue with its own blood supply and will react to big gain weight/loss. He also uses stromal vascular fraction in grafting which is one of the latest developments in medical science.

I note he is very experienced (275 cases sounds very impressive) although this is a small part of his practice (he is a really well known PS). Some of the before/afters look really impressive but of course they are cherry-picked so it doesn\'t really mean anything.

This is not a recommendation though! Just me constantly doing research.
