TOPIC: Lengthening surgery advice?

Lengthening surgery advice? 8 years 2 months ago #1293429598

Hello everyone,

I am a new poster but have been lurking for awhile. I have been doing alot of research on lengthening surgery for about 3 months. Reading the old boards and going through these boards back to like 2013 posts.

I honestly have found very few people say that they have gained Erect length after surgery, the ones that do stretch or hang afterwards for up to a year it seems.

I know I\'m supposed to read these boards and come to my own conclusion but I am looking for advice because I know most of you have more insight on the topic that I do.

I\'ve gotten to the point that I\'m depressed about my size. I tried PE. I\'ve done the 3 month beginners plan offered at PEGYM and have stepped it up to the next one (JP?). I did that around 2 years ago and after I did that and had no gains at all I started Hanging. I got up to 12 pounds at an hour a day and still had no gains after 6 months which would be 16 months total of actual PE. I somewhat stopped for a few months and picked up the phallosan? Forte. I\'ve been wearing this ADS for a good 6 months now going from 4 hours every other day to now at 10 to 14 hours 6 days a week with one day off. I\'ve had no gains at all.

I\'m disappointed with the amount of time I\'ve put into this so far and realise that others take a long time to make this happen. My size is effecting my own confidence and it\'s making my social life with women terrible and it\'s getting worse.

I am 4.5 inches in length Erect and have 4 inches I Girth. Flaccid I\'m 1 to 1.5 inches Flaccid and 3 inches in Girth.

With these stats I\'ve come to a conclusion that I want the surgery done. I realise that I\'m somewhat close to the \"normal\" size but all I want to be is normal. I would settle for 6 inches and Girth I would love to be 5.

I\'ve talked to a Dr. G and did a free consultation and he basically stated everything that I\'ve seen on his site. I looked at a couple other doctors but after reading through here I managed to throw some of them out.

The surgery I\'m looking at is both length and Girth. I can easily dedicate myself to Hanging or stretching to achieve the outcome as that\'s how it seems it working for people.

After PEing for 2 years with nothing to show I\'m think the lig cut will allow me to continue PE but with actual gain. It also seems most people recede after the surgery but I am dedicated to making this happen.

I\'m looking for anyone here that can give me advice or any sort of insight on who else I should look at? Or if it\'s a lost cause? At 4.5 inches Erect and 1.5inches Flaccid I\'m desperate... even if my Flaccid length matched my Erect it would be a cruel joke as women would probably think it\'s supposed to be a Grower.

What I really want is Erect length gain. I also want this to combat my confidence that is lacking which is both sexually and mentally.

SSorow- I understand your frustration entirely. I did PE for four years, trying EVERYTHING available. Every regimen, every approach, every devise. Spending in fact $3k or more on devises, weights, hangers, etc. I would try them consistently for 4-6 months, but no results or gains. Got up to a consistent 15 lbs with the Bib Hanger for 5 months until I had to move and it wasn\'t possible to continue the two hours a day...

All with very little gain, maybe 3/8\".

So, what I\'ve determined is that my ligs are very strong, and perhaps short from the bone to the internal penis.

So, I\'ve reached out to Dr. Ress in Boca Raton FL who is inventing a new breakthrough process that is designed to increase Flaccid AND Erect length. His first six trial patients (infusing human tissue between internal penis and bone) have been successful for Flaccid gains, but not Erect gains (as typical with lig cut procedures). So, his next set of trials are focusing on using a synthetic bone material for the in between inter penis and bone. He thinks this will be successful in length gains both Flaccid and Erect.

If I had to do over, I\'d gotten PMMA earlier, then wait for Dr. Ress\'s procedure to be successful, then have another round of PMMA to fill in the new length areas. Then have HA (Voluma) to increase the glans size.

Thank you very much for the info! Rather than get fat transfers like offered from Dr.G, I would rather get PMMA.

I\'ve been looking into this as well and with 4in Girth I honestly would only want another Inch to that. I\'ve seen quite a few people who perform PMMA and people who have had good results and bad as well.

Maybe it would be better to get PMMA and wait on other advances like you\'ve said.

One question I had was if I get PMMA done I wanted to get 30%.... I don\'t know ow if that possible with such a small Flaccid length but the main Dr I was looking long at for it is Dr. C. Anyone have any other recommendations that don\'t require me to leave the states?

I was one of those patients. He\'s gone into much more detail with you than me. I don\'t recall him ever admitting to inserting cadaver tissue as a spacer. I knew he was having new trials soon and before said those of us who went through the first procedure would be welcomed back for the 2nd.

Idk if there is a serious time frame for the second procedure as of yet.

PMMA can cause huge problems like granulates and scarring that can shrink the penis you can read about this online or by taking to one of the few docs that will be honest with you, i have talked to many and only a few sound like they are straight forward. Dr. Maercks in Miami is the most interesting. He uses a special type of fat transfer that increases both flacid and Erect length and Girth. I asked Dr. M about PMMA again after reading this and he said it was horrible idea. Apparently he started offering penis enlargement only after he had reconstructed a large number of men after PMMA, sculpture, silicone injection and conventional ligament release. He claims to have had success reconstructing these patients and developed his technique only after completing many reconstructions. I asked about ligament release and while he does offer it he does warn that he has had to reconstruct many patients who had a shorter and scarred in penis after cutting the ligament so his technique involves the same fat as he normally uses in combination with release. The most interesting thing is that he does not advise any Hanging or stretching and there is no special care after the surgery once recovery is over. she says that he would not even consider ligament release without fat transfer because he claims it allows maximal gains and give some protection against bad scarring and retracting. I asked Dr. M about synthetic bone and he said this has been tried before but always causes long term inflammation that can cause pain and complications even years later. One point he made that made a lot of sense is that you wouldn\'t want a hard lump there as it could cause pain and irritation to both partners during sex. I think Dr. Loria in miami is using silicone with PMMA and other similar hard fillers and it is easy to find out what happens to those patients if you look around. I trust Dr. M because he is actually a real plastic surgeon and a craniofacial surgeon as well. Does anyone know anyone that has had PMMA and is happy with it long term? I would love to hear about it. Dr. M\'s pictures look great and I was thinking about going for his length nd Girth structured fat and the minimal incision ligament release he offers because i want to double my size. he says doubling the Flaccid size is likely but less than doubling Erect. Obadiah his assistant ( who is awesome and knows a lot) told me that his patients say they get Erect gains in the range of 1/2 Inch to 2 1/2 Inch. Any similar experiences with PMMA of bone or anything else?? Anyone on this board had Dr. M treat them??

Even if you get a lig cut its just for Flaccid length and doesnt do anything for your Erect length, plus you woukd have to still use an extender to get gains after the lig cut so it makes no sense.

Hello PhalloBoards,

I am Dr. Maercks, the doctor that this thread refers to. I have been alerted of these threads about my practice by a couple of patients who will be providing testimonials as well. I wanted to introduce myself as a resource and am able to answer any questions directly. indiano123 cutting the ligament can indeed significantly increase Erect length however with wide dissection usually used in this procedure there can be extensive scarring that can actually retract and restrict length even causing pain with Erection. This is the main reason I do not perform it unless it is really necessary for patient needs and I only perform ligament release with fat transfer. The reasons are:

#1 fat transfer alone can indeed increase length when technically performed in the way I do (typically 0.5 to 2 inches dependant on patient anatomy. there have also been international publications coming to similar conclusions.

#2 fat transfer has antifibrotic properties that reduce the risks of retracting scar and also helps fill the dissected space with healthy tissue with activated local stem cells that are further protective

#3fat transfer maximizes the gain possible from ligament transection by filling the space, stenting the penis away from the abdominal wall ( this happens to some limited degree without transection

If I perform release it is with a minimallly invasive small incision using fiberoptic retractors for optical view because I want to minimize scaring in the area and maximize the undissected tissue to support fat graft take.

The reason that I do not commonly do it is the very high patient satisfaction and great results in both length and Girth I commonly attain. Although FFT has a bad reputation in some circles it is a very reliable and powerful tool requiring respect and technical attention for success ie using one of many time consuming strategies to ensure tiny particles of fat (not clumps) avoiding centrifuge superconcentration, avoiding extreme suction and shear forces. The problem is that these techniques turn a 5 minute harvest into an hour or more so few perform with these consideration. I am happy to address any further questions as a resource to this thread.

All the best,

Rian A. Maercks M.D.
