I figured it couldn\'t be all that different and either way it\'s just HA so worst case scenario I get it dissolved. I backed out due to price, but at this point I kinda wish I would have done it. I didn\'t know about Macrolane\'s cheapness at the time. Voluma lasts the longest but it, along with most of other HA\'s will run you like $475/cc! Macrolane is more like $325/cc and still lasts about a year, maybe more according to the marketing info.

Strange, I\'ve heard even about Macrolane prices of about 30USD/cc in Czech Republic :-/

So they are now offering Ellanse again? Is it for the 4 years Ellanse ?

I was also quoted Ellanse, 2 months back, I pressed them to give a straight answer whether they had injected it yet and the answer was no. Perhaps things have changed but I didn\'t want to be the first. Maybe all fillers are somewhat the same with injection technique, but I don\'t know.

Late reply to above from Destern 22: I also experienced the very slow customer service and this personally makes makes me nervous. Customer interaction is critical and I don\'t know why they do this but I perceive it as a lack of professionalism or they need more staff (same thing either way) I\'m also disappointed that Dr C just stopped replying back to members here right after opening a thread.

I\'m not trying to beat up on them and I\'m sure they are very nice people and good at injections from what I have read but I need good communication to feel comfortable to have this procedure done.

I wear a lot of hats in my job and take tech calls/emails as one of my many tasks . Some of them are a little ridiculous/OCD but you have to deal with it and figure out a way to get people answers without letting them bogging you down.

One reason for the slow response from them is that they are a really small staff and only Dr. C and Wade have the expertise to answer the questions. From what I can tell they are booked all day, so questions get answered in between sessions or off hours. There is a junior member who is just learning and can\'t realistically answer questions, it is pretty much just Wade. I am guilty of asking a shit load of questions, scheduling phone consults with Dr. C and then backing out after paying for everything which they had to refund. This was 2 years ago - when I finally showed up for my appointment they were surprised I came but were very good natured about it,

I imagine they get a mailbox full of questions and a lot of people with cold feet. Then there are all the followup questions from all the patients they have seen during the month.

Before the procedures I usually wait 2-3 days to get a response. But, after my procedures (3 now) I get a response rsooner to see how things are going. The week before I come for a schedule procedure is when I get the most attention is terms of what my expectations are and what product to use etc.

They must get a shit ton of emails every day from around the world as well with boat loads of questions. What they should do is post the questions and their answers in a blog format so people can read the responses as I am sure they are the same 20 questions over and over.

Not making excuses for them as I had the same thoughts, but once I saw the operation and how it has been Dr. C and Wade and no one else with the expertise to answer the questions it made sense. I even joked with them that the new guy needed to learn the ropes so he could take over the mailbox but right now he does not have the knowledge and the answers would not be nearly as authoritative.

Saying all this as I would not let the response time put you off to much. It did put me off at first, but then I got that they are super busy, not just anyone can answer the questions and the care I got was really great which made the question issue sort of moot, but still it would be good to have that aspect working better too. They really need to blog the questions and answers the way Reed does. They will start to get a lot less emails.

By the look of it, I\'m going to be the first patient for Dr. C to use Ellanse. I\'m going in January.

$4200 for 12cc

4 year version isn\'t avaliable in Mexico yet. I spoke with a sinclair rep (their parent co.) yesterday to try and get an ETA of when it would be avaliable. For now it looks like the 3 year is what I\'ve got to work with.

I had a great conversation with Wade. Like most say, once you speak with or meet them, you can tell they\'re pros. But as much as they are professional, they are breaking new ground. There is most definetly a make it up as you go aspect to this whole PE game. Even for them. Everybody is vastly different. No cookie-cutter directions that apply.

I plan on getting Ellanse and letting PMMA rack up some 10-15 year progress reports before I commit. I also think there\'s a good chance Ellanse could provide some (albeit not a whole lot) permanent growth.

I\'ve had multiple 1+ week delays in response. I was was very careful and straightforward in the wording of my email knowing they are busy and to make it super easy to reply back.

I need better communication than that especially for someone who potentially is going to permanently modify my penis,

Lol

Good on you for being the first. Your reporting will be very helpful to those members who are teetering between PMMA and HA. Make sure to take before and after pictures & measurements...and good luck exploring this new terrain!

I said fuck it and scheduled PMMA. I\'m confident enough in it now. I do have faith in Ellanse but having to go back for years on end and constantly having a penis that is changing shape and uniformity is too much mental anguish. I\'d rather focus on a few rounds of PMMA and be done with it.
