Today and tomorrow day will be the last times for the lifetime membership discounts. The membership program will go into effect tomorrow night. I\'ve been giving a few updates through posts, and I may consider extending the discount to members who have not logged in since I\'ve made the payment system announcement (no guarantees or promises though), so I hope everyone has my understanding.

I still am not sure how to sign up for the lifetime membership.

You\'ll need to go to this link (takes 10 seconds to generate) and select the drop down to the $100 price. That is the current charge for lifetime membership, the discounted rate is no longer in effect.

Can people who didn\'t pay the fee still PM? Just wondering because I get a lot of PMs of complications (that people won\'t share publicly), and I have a feeling that might increase - with people still wanting advice and not having to pay the fee.

I haven\'t thought of that, kind of surprised I overlooked that. As of now I have no plans or decisions on that. At least for the next few weeks PMs will remain fully accessible to non-subscription members.

Personally I wouldn\'t respond to them anyway. I stopped replying to those kind of messages about 6 months ago. I hate having to dwell on my own negative experiences with PE, but do it all the time to try and prevent others going through what I\'ve been through. Ive made over 3000 posts and doubt more than 10 were me asking questions to benefit myself. So I decided to stop replying to people with complications who were keeping it to themselves. I know it can be tough to deal a poor PE result and often guys can feel too depressed to share, but surely it\'s worth doing it if it helps to prevent others going through what you are going through.

@Restoration and @hoddle10

that\'s very interesting what you guys say there. are there a lot of complications that don\'t make the boards? is it mostly PMMA?

Yes, it\'s all PMMA. About five guys contacted me, only 1 posted publicly. The problem is not the PM itself, it\'s what hoddle said. Also, I spent about 3 hours writing the \"Nodule information thread\" which is what almost all of the emails are about anyway except one guy who had an open wound like me.

There are also a few \"should I get PMMA? How do I decide between 10% and 30%\" PMs. No posts on the board...just PM straight to me about a topic covered in 100 posts.

Not really the right thread to discuss this. But I get complication PM\'s from a all types of PE. I suspect Restoration will mainly receive PMMA questions as that is the procedure he\'s known for having issues with.

I did notice though, British guys seem to have a particular aversion to sharing their experiences. You\'d be surprised how often I get PM\'s from Brits who have had FFT and want advise on getting it removed. On the main forum there are virtually no reports. The last 2 Brits that did actually post on the forum about FFT, both asked for help during their recovery, then once I replied to them never posted again.

I don\'t get why guys are so secretive on an anonymous forum... and on top of that, some expect personalized info when they need it from those of us who have shared everything already.

Speaking of FFT: I went through a few days thinking FFT would \"save me\" from my current mess... there\'s almost nothing on FFT on this PhalloBoards version, but the old one had much more.

Sorry this is off topic from the thread, S.O. Anyway, I\'d rather stick to having PMs from active members who paid or who contribute at least.

SO, I want to be paying five dollars monthly but there are no paying methods open to me here in my region (Africa - the dark continent, lol). I used to pay such small amounts by payPal but it won\'t pay to your email address. Is your address suited to this kind of payment, or is there a way of you deducting these monthly payments from our cards? Presently I am averse to paying about fifty dollars charges for remitting you fifty or one hundred dollars. I should like to think that there might be others in this same situation.

CCBill doesn\'t work for you? It accepts a number of currencies, you don\'t have any accounts with the worlds most common currencies? Pardon my ignorance in this regard, I\'m sincerely trying to help.

ccBill does not work for us. I have used PayPal quite a bit and am wondering why it hasn\'t worked for you. They have suggested several reasons, all beyond me. I am not sure whether there are different types of email addresses etc. some to which payents cannot be made ...

Do you have a separate account you can try? A lot of times the hang up is at your bank and I\'d try contacting them to allow the transaction.

Paypal shut our account down because it claimed our forum violated terms of service. No idea how, they wouldn\'t explain, but maybe because of the adult nature of this forum.

I don\'t know how it\'s done but there is a way in which some entities can deduct small monthly amounts from our cards. Wikipedia and WFP deducted from my card for several years whilst some, like MyUS.com still do.

It\'s unfortunate that I\'m in a part of the world lacking simple facilities that are taken for granted in other parts (google wallet says \"not compatible with the region\"). I suppose I\'ll have to wait till I\'m ready to make a substantial donation worth the almost fifty dollar charges for the remittance.
