I mean, are you coming from outside the US? That would be a tougher situation. Otherwise, I would think it would be easy to come up with a reason you may be MIA for a couple of days. A minor one is coming up with a story. I could just say a vacation, but people would be surprised I chose Tijuana as a vacation destination. They would probably assume I was up to something.
