I emailed him over a month ago, and he didn\'t get it - so I resent it with an update. He might have felt bad he didn\'t get the email, so he decided to call me.
Anyway, he\'s not a fan of
PMMA. A couple concerning comments...
- It sticks to the
Dartos fascia which is crucial for penile blood flow and lymph drainage. Long term consequences of this are unknown, but it may be why I have some dark purple areas and painful lumps. Dartos doesn\'t really \"grow back\" once it gets damaged or removed - he said it change something from \"organized\" to \"disorganized\" and then said \"this would make sense if you had a medical background in
Urology\" so I don\'t really know what he meant.
- It\'s not just on bucks - in everyone. He said my situation wasn\'t unique. It goes wherever it wants and anyone can get lumps regardless of their health, supplements, prior procedures, aftercare, etc...
- He\'s fixed a lot of
PMMA patients - more than Darkstaff.
- He thinks I could consider a graft for my 1\" loss + 1/2\" loss coming up... but it\'s too early to tell and I should wait 6 months. He\'s never done an inflatable penile expander, but he said Alter might do something like that - but wasn\'t sure. He said the
Foreskin restoration techniques are \"very different\" than what I am trying to do, but I\'m not sure what he meant by that. I think they might be exactly what I should do.
- He doesn\'t know why my wounds aren\'t closing. He wouldn\'t judge whether my surgeons approach of excision was better than a wound care center. He just said he\'d have to see it in person and he\'s in CA.
- He never does penile enhancement...but he\'s fixed tons of them. He wouldn\'t implicate the elist implant, but it sounded like that was one of the situations from a vague comment about \"fully hard implants taken out\".
- He commented that we are the hardest guys to please because he can rarely get us back to normal, and we\'re a population more concerned with size and aesthetics than most...and the best he can often do is get it back to \"acceptable\" but not perfect & large like many of us would like...since complications cause compromises.
I think I\'m probably best off with my current doc, rather than traveling to CA and seeing what he has to say.
The chat was very brief...but that\'s it in a nutshell.
