TOPIC: Girth enhancement from a doc that performs transgender surgery?

Hello everyone, there is a doctor Greenwald in Tampa, Florida that performs temporary Girth enhancement with a filler called Radiesse. Based on the uncertainties lately with the more permanent PMMA fillers, I feel that the temporary filler may be a better option. The Radiesse is expected to last about a year or so and then another session may be needed.
I feel that if a physician can perform transgender surgeries, then he should be skilled and competent enough to inject a temporary filler into a penis.
Dr. Greenwald is also known and quite popular in regards to performing theses transgender surgeries. I mean come on, the doc can create a penis from female anatomy. I\'m sure he should be good at injecting a temporary filler.
Any thoughts?

Being a skilled surgeon means next to nothing when it comes to fillers. In the UK you don\'t need to a Dr to inject fillers. A beautician could inject and can be every bit as good or better than a Dr. You could be the best surgeon in the world and just not have knack for fillers. I had botox with 2 plastic surgeons, but the best results I\'ve had were from my dentist! The worlds best Rhinpolasty surgeon, may well be a board certified plastic surgeon, but that doesn\'t mean he will be better than to dermatologists when it comes to performing liposuction.

The most important thing is judge the Dr on their competence for the particular procedure you want. Basically judge Dr Greenwald on what you can find about his history with Radiesse and not the type surgeries he performs. We have a couple of members who have had Radiesse with Dr Greenwald and he seems to do a pretty good job from what I can remember. Gains are modest, but apparently if felt natural and looked good.

Sava Perovic was probably the most esteemed transgender surgeon in the world, but his penis enlargement surgeries were pretty useless.

Hoddle, your wealth of information is truly amazing and greatly appreciated. I have searched both this forum and thunders in regards to Dr. Greenwald and I feel that whatever available information out there implies that he is a competent physician. Huddle, what are your thoughts on Radiesse and other similar temporary fillers. I just feel that the PMMA is so inconsistent right now and I feel that the temporary filler may be a quicker recovery time than the PMMA.
I am considering dr. Greenwald because he obviously has experience with penis anatomy whether it be creating one or transforming one and thus, maybe he would be competent enough to inject the filler into a penis. Can I recommend realself.com . People critique the fillers, the dr.\'s technique. You won\'t find many Phalloplasty patients but lots of useful info.

Dr. Reed is in Miami as well. He may not be doing fillers - but I think he is one of the better ones.
