TOPIC: Lipen-10/ PMMA after alloderm graft

Lipen-10/ PMMA after alloderm graft 9 years 3 months ago #1288260655

After much research on this forum about Lipen-10/ PMMA mixture, I\'m tempted to go for only 1 injection to get my EG to 5.5\" and a larger Flaccid size, however I have already undergone twice alloderm graft and my EG is now 5.0\".

Anyone here underwent Lipen-10/ PMMA injection in South Korea after alloderm/ Belladerm grafts to increase Girth?

If so, did you experience any complications such as infections?

I experienced bacterial infection after my second alloderm grafting and the experience was not fun at all. Fortunately my surgeon was very responsible and got me back to his clinic for wound cleaning & antibiotic drip on a daily basis until it was cleared.

Thanks!

See my answer to your other post. The reason you get an infection with 2 layers of Alloderm is that it is meant to be placed between tissue that as a blood supply - on both sides of the graft. The sides of the Alloderm that are on top of each other have no blood supply so bacteria festers. PMMA can also affect the blood supply to the graft opening yourself up to more infection and more importantly graft Necrosis. That is just what I have read on the internet over the year.

Thanks hunkdory for your quick reply, much appreciated!

Dang, guess I\'ve reached the end of the road as far as PE goes. As long as there are risks of infection, I\'d rather forego that operation and live with what I have now.

Also you have a very nice aesthetic result now. It\'s not as easy to achieve that with fillers.

I would definitely leave it alone. You already hit the PE jackpot once

Thanks hoddle/ Bigben for your advice.

After having gone through a bad infection after my 2nd graft, that stuck in my mind as a reminder to be wary of any complications however minor, especially when advised by people who have \"been there done that\", much appreciated!
