TOPIC: Best ED supplement

So I\'m 50+ and in a LTR with a great girl who is in her mid 40s. We have great sex and I can go for hours. The only problem I\'m experiencing lately is an EQ issue. My junk just doesn\'t get as hard as it used. Will Viagra help that? I\'ve never used it. I\'m in good shape, not overweight, likely drink a bit too much, pretty normal. I just want to get the steel hard erections of my past. Not sure this is the right forum. Moderators please move as you see fit. Welcome all comments, recommendations. Thanks.

Yes. You can cut the 20 in half. I did it all the time. You should use a pill splitter because the film coating makes it hard to split. And, if you bite it - any saliva that gets on the unused half will start breaking it down. 10 mg works fine for most people. If you still have too many side effects, take Levitra. It is the most targeted ED drug, so it doesn\'t hit all the unnecessary pathways that viagra and Cialis do.

Idiots taking too much zinc, the supplement industry hasn\'t done the research. Zinc crosses the blood brain barrier and at microgram concentrations, has caused oxidative stress on neuronal pc12 cell lines, in the lowest concentration in the dilution series under the microscope the dendrites were chemically denatured and most had low viability, this was confirmed via several MTS assays. Don\'t take zinc, we haven\'t established a updated recommended value, because even at micrograms the concentration seems hazardous. You can get zinc, as long as you eat from your major food groups; enjoy your fruits and vegetables, better if they\'re homegrown. My home garden is doing excellent on Iguana juice (organic fertilizer).

In the meantime, I still wonder about cutting pills, as the 20 mg seemed a little strong for me.

I started taking 10,000mg of vitamin D and 60mg of zinc daily and I had a big surge my sex drive and Eq. I also take 12.5mg of DHEA daily. I have a better erections now than when I was 30.

I made the mistake of getting 20mg pills, so if I cut them in thirds, is that about what the 5mg pills are? Or are the pills the same size and work with less active ingredient?

Just to provide additional information and show that everyone is different, for me Cialis has worked in exactly the same way for over a year, with minimal side effects. The 5mg dose also only takes about 30-60 minutes to kick in and it lasts 36 hours, though you get a bit of an overlap effect if you take it everyday. I consider myself lucky that I respond so well because a lot of guys don\'t.

The stretcher helped my EQ as well..and this is a common theme on peyronie\'s boards & my uro said this is common. Nobody entirely understands why.

5 mg Cialis stopped working for me after a few months...goolgle \"Cialis stopped working\" or \"viagra stopped working\" and you can read all about these issues & maybe avoid them ahead of time. I had to just use these pills if I knew I was going to have sex, for sure. If you are having sex all the time - and basically every day, then I guess it makes more sense to take the 5 mg every day.

Cialis at 5 mg usually takes 2-3 days to show an effect. The 10-20 mg dose will be effective right away. Levitra had a coupon for a while that reduced the pills to $8 each (insurance wont cover it). Viagra isn\'t covered by my insurance at all, but Cialis is for some reason.

Levitra did an awful marketing job...there are a few interesting papers on them (and their poor marketing)...the whole benefit of levitra is that it\'s much more specific than viagra - and will not cause the side effects that viagra does.

Great. Thanks for all of the input. I\'m going to give the 5mg Cialis a shot. I\'ve also noticed that if I wear my stretcher for a few hours my EQ is almost always improved. Wonder why?

I\'ve had ED for most, if not all, of my life, and it reached a point about a year ago when I needed to start taking Cialis. I take the 5mg dose and it works very well, even though I still have issues with outflow, ie keeping an Erection. Nevertheless, on that dose of Cialis, I get harder faster, and stay that way with less work. There is simply no substitute. Certain supplements will offer marginal benefits, and as Restoration has already mentioned, arginine and citrulline can give a minor boost, but nothing works like Cialis. I bet if you are mostly functional but simply want to improve your eq, the daily low dose of Cialis will work great for you.
