TOPIC: Dr. C Volume Limits - New Pricing w/ Linnea Safe & My concerns...

I don\'t have the full list now, but he\'s capping it at 20cc per round. Each additional CC is an extra fee in cash only. If you\'re an existing patient, you still pay the new prices... as far as I understand. I was assuming my next round would be 1500 + a premium for linnea safe, which is close ($2150) but that is for 20cc alone + $80 per additional CC. I had 27 and 22 before... so it could go up to $3000...which is more than R1!

So, I\'m gonna end up with a $10,000 Dick that is like 0.5\"-0.75\" bigger than I started? And, still lacking in the circ scar area due to the inherent problem with PMMA there...

What\'s the story with Dr Giunta? Did ANYONE have a good result, long term? I\'m just feeling uneasy with this huge expense now + travel (and american has cancelled the main flight home from SD - so my Round-Trip is = to an international flight!). Plus, my PMMA response to R2 was zero...

Why did you choose Linnea safe?

I had very little growth from r2 of 30% metacrill last round, and there seemed to be a lot of posters who had limited growth in the last 6-8 months. I think there\'s a product quality issue...maybe.

Metacrill pricing is still similar, though it went up a little- R3 would be 1600

I wouldn\'t bother with Giunta, as FFT tends to be pretty inconsistent. But I\'m consulting with Dr Solomon at the beginning of April, as he now does a widening procedure, using dermal matrix, that isn\'t anywhere near as invasive. The downside is, I don\'t think the gains will be enough to satisfy most guys and it\'s still going to cost more than 3 rounds of PMMA.

Yea, Mustang - I actually \"hope \" it was a problem with the product in that time period really, because if I go back and spend another 3k (all in) I just don\'t want to be disappointed again. I can\'t afford to be at this point.

The 10% sticker that dr c gave me from R1 showed it was expiring that month and was a year old - so it dated all the way back to when the bulk of guys were getting good results from 10 and not too far from briceb\'s spreadsheet. The 30% i had in R2 was during that weird period where a lot of people said they were disappointment.

My speculation is there was a problem w/ metacrill...and metacrill fixed it - but also raised its price (hence the price changing). Also, perhaps they got linnea safe as a backup because enough people complained. All speculation though. Dan Salas told me many patients request Linnesafe by name, and he\'s said the results with it have been good.

The main focus will be to avoid the low spot from the entry point leak, bulk up the circ scar area, and ideally - this would be my last round.

Back in the earlier days of this procedure / forum that was Dr. C\'s old volume limit (20cc / round)... just saying.

My first round was 22cc and they were pretty blow away by putting that much product in, plus the only reason I got the extra 2 cc at no extra charge back then was because I let another Dr. watch / film the procedure on his iphone.

Perhaps Dr. C had less issues (poor patient feedback) back then and wants to keep things safe.

We can debate for days about it but nobody can really know whether they\'ve changed a supplier (getting a cheaper version instead) or if the beads changed in size etc. The truth is that gains of the scale of a few years back haven\'t been seen again. Yes, results could vary from one person to another but who actually got gains of 0.5\" from a single round in a last year?

hopefully when more people go in for their rounds, we will see larger gains being reported. Maybe everyone who goes there should ask to see the manufacture date to see if it is sill in the \'bad batch\' catagory. slk300 gained over 1\'\' from his first round (and he himself said he did poorly on the after care)
