TOPIC: PMMA Sheets like Alloderm & Belladerm!

I think it would be a great idea for a surgeon to create PMMA Sheets at a certain thickness or stackable like Allo & Bella. Hopefully it could provide lasting results, better aesthetics as far as lumps/smoothness/uniformity, and the ability to be removed more sufficiently if needed. Just a Thought!

I\'m not trying to be a smart ass, and I say this because I know it is going to come out that way. I think they do make sheets of PMMA, and I think it is called Plexiglass. I\'m not sure how a pleasing and uniform shape would be obtained with small sheets of plexiglass placed in the penis, as opposed to the PMMA spheres suspended in fluid.

I am guessing he was thinking the spheres would have been suspended in a gel like substance that would also absorb. In theory sounds good, have perfect distribution of PMMA in the jel like substance. I just don\'t think the jel could absorb fast enough to help facilitate the collagen growth properly. I am talking about something I am not an expert in. I know you were thinking of ways to have the PMMA perfectly distributed and that would be a way to do that, if the body responded correctly, would be another story.

This has been discussed before, but I still see it as a pointless idea, as it would require surgery. The key benefit of PMMA is that is doesn\'t require surgery, so things like infection, scarring and Necrosis aren\'t such a worry. I see no advantage of this over some of the newer dermal matrix products, which apparently don\'t absorb as much as Belloderm/Alloderm. In fact it\'s surely not as good, as PMMA can cause immune responses, whilst dermal matrix products don\'t seem to.

What were some of the newer dermal matrix products that you were referring to Hoddle?
