TOPIC: future filler

This post is part of a huge post that I was thinking of uploading here a while ago but decided not to, however since checking on this site every now and then and only being met with pmma topics (not a bad thing at all and completely understandable) I thought I might offer something a bit different to read.I came to the conclusion a while ago that for those of us who are looking to increase the size of an already quite average sized penis pmma nor any of the other options currently available are the answers save manual PE.It is a situation that dictates that all we can do is wait and talk about what may come along in the future, but hey if that's all we can do we might as well do it as best we can ' as many on this forum have done in the past btw.
This is my contribution:

Generating own tissue growth within the penis- Way into the future and way off my ability to determine between acceptable results and bullshit when reviewing research papers, so I will give this area a miss. However I am sure someone like smalljay can definitely provide you with some interesting data if you can understand it. The perfect injectable filler- This for me would constitute having a state changing (fluid to gel), auxetic (gets bigger as it is stretched), mechanically strong and robust, adhesive, permanent, easily removable and foreign body response resistant hydrogel.Many of these qualities have actually already been designed into current hydrogel research samples however to the best of my knowledge not all together in one product.The auxetic quality is one which I am pretty sure none have and is one that would be key, this is because it would give the filler, once set to a gel, the same dynamics as the penis itself. There would be no opposite forces being exerted on the natural size changes of the penis at all, as it gets larger (erect) so does the material, nothing to stretch or pull.

I am pretty confident that we will see a hydrogel with all of these properties sooner rather than later, it is of course how long you will have to wait till such a product becomes available to the medical cosmetic industry.

It also speaks nothing of its dynamics, how it will react when the tissue it surrounds expands and then retracts again, etc. So where are we when we consider all the qualities we would need down there?Well like I said we have all the parts:

Yeah, the idea of a stretchy filler that doesn\'t trigger a foreign body reaction is definitely appealing. And - you could actually get the gains you inject! I think the research is a little early for some of these particular compounds. Also, the term \"hydrogel\" has been applied to other things in the past. It was used to describe polyacrylamide, and it was banned in the USA and China for causing a lot of problems. It is different than the one you posted from the Cambridge Polymer Group which is polyvinyl alcohol ... and the one you linked to in Nature is (I think?) carboxybetaine methacrylate - which sounds like it has more of a tissue engineering application. Anyway, it\'s a little confusing & I am not a chemical engineer so I might not have gotten this right...but I know the OLD hydrogel (polyacrylamide) was bad news:

Given the wording & recency in the publications, it seems like large volume clinical use is pretty far out (or would be very expensive). But, the money in fillers is huge, so maybe something will be developed.
