TOPIC: HA / Facial Fillers w/ Dr. C

I got a quote for a few ccs of facial filler (Restylane and juvederm) - which are half the price of these here in the usa (and even more of a discount if you look at high priced urban areas).

I don\'t \"need\" these things done as badly as I need the Girth enhancement done - so I don\'t know if I should go ahead with the face or not. One big question is: Why do these patented - very expensive - products go for such cheap prices in Mexico vs. the usa. Is it just that Allergan (the mfr) sells it to them for less? You\'d think everyone would just get their filler in Mexico and canada then (it\'s way cheaper)...and Allergan wouldn\'t want to piss off the american docs that badly.

Has anyone had any facial filler with Dr. C? I know he\'s done a lot with HIV patients, but I just have like 2-3 ccs I need filled in, not like a full face of reconstruction. Actually, I am still on the fence if I need it at all... I\'ve had filler done 4-5 times and half the time, I look worse. The other half of the time, it is great until it disappears.

I\'m pretty sure you can\'t cross the borders with that stuff as a consumer/medical pro
