Hi Guys, Had a long phone chat with Dr. Cho over the phone couple of evenings ago - thought I might share my findings with you. Anyways, I had a long chat with the dr in the link below where we discussed about lipen treatment. www.wbclinic.co.kr/index.php?mid=introduce

He recommends me Lipen with no pmma as I have already had Radiesse in November. He said that Lippen without pmma have more complications than lippen with pmma such as edema, swelling. He said these will dissolve by themselves quickly. He said also me being in london was not ideal if something happens but that he knows some good doctors here which he can give instructions. He said 99% of his patients go for lippen with pmma - he has done 5000 injections so far as the treatment is popular in Korea. Reason why lippen without pmma is not used is that the penis does not have good tissue like in the face according to the doc.he said he was the first in the world to perform dermal grafting for girth enlargement.
The result of lipen without pmma can last >2 years. For the lipen with pmma - the results are permanent. Also, he mentioned that lipen with pmma can be completely reverse if one wish for it by a straightforward surgical procedure.Dr C was at his office earlier this year for training.

He said I can get more than 3cm or more than an inch gain in EG depending on how much volume I get.

Normally 5 syringes are required for the treatment and each syringe costs 600$.He mentions the importance is to get a symmetrical result and not to inject too much.Sex can be resumed after 2-3 weeks. What do you think guys?Wouldnt this be ideal as this gives you 2+ years of temporary gain so you can evaluate how pmma turns out.Hoddle said this material is no different to macrolane. Macrolane last around a year, while this last over two years. The doc said it could last 3,4 or 5 years depending on different factors. According to the doc, the feel and texture of the post lipen penis is natural. Let me know what you think guys

I didn\'t say it\'s no different to macrolane, but that it offers no advantage over it. I think you need the microspheres to get the firmness you do with PMMA and Radiesse.

Hi Yao,

Thanks a lot for contacting Dr. Cho, It will be great if you can please, ask Dr.Cho about two things :-

1- I didn\'t understand this point ; why do you get more complications (e.g. swelling) with Lipen-D (100% Dextran) than with Lipen-P (85% Dextran+15% PMMA) ?? Does that mean the 15% PMMA in Lipen-P is the reason why you have less complications ???

2- It will be interesting to know the long-term aesthetic result ( e.g. smoothness and no roughness or irregularities or nodules) of Lipen-P ( and not Lipen-D) after 2-3 yrs when all the 85% Dextran is totally absorbed.

Yao:

Can you ask Dr. Cho if he can get \"either\" of the Lipen products into the area between the Circumcision scar and the glans?

If you\'ve seen most of Dr. C\'s PMMA results, there is a sudden, irregular transition in this area, very noticeable in the Erect state. I guess it\'s due the the skin for most guys being tight in this area. Despite doing many of these procedures over the last few years, it\'s the one problem (at least to my eyes) that Dr. C has not been able to overcome or improve on much.

Please ask Dr. Cho how close he is able to get his products to the edge of the glans. Thanks.

Hi Smartman,

Point 1: I didnt get that either -
Point 2: Regarding the aesthetics, he said that he puts great efforts in giving the best final results. He said, if the Dr decides the volume the final results will be good.At times it was difficult to understand him as he is not a native English speaker. He has great volume of English vocabulary, but it takes time for him to express himself with the right words. For anyone of you who are planning to contact him over the phone, talk extremely slowly and give him enough time to respond. Alternatively, he asked me to send an email and he will reply with 100 % grammatically correct and rich language. His email is \'androcho at hAnmail dot net\' He is happy to reply emails and please share with the phallpboard communuty your findings. Finally, Smartman what do you think about Lipen with 100% Dextran. The doc says it lasts more than 2 years perhaps 3, 4 or 5 years in one session. What is your take on this filler compared to Macrolane and Radiesse. I myself had Radiesse two months ago and Im currently not happy with it as it didnt give me the volume increase I wished for. Aesthetics are fine though as well as the larger Flaccid result.

Thanks mate

Are you of Korean descent? Can you speak, read and write in Korean, or were you speaking with Dr. Cho in english? I think it would be invaluable to have a member here who can speak and read Korean, so was just wanting to check.

As for Lipen or other temporary Girth solutions, I\'d say it\'s a viable option if you are very nervous about getting PMMA. However, I think a lot of guys tout this as an option without thinking of the consequences that even these temporary procedures might have on the penis. I don\'t know if they use needles or micro cannulas, but regardless, each of these procedures is likely to take a small toll on your penis. I know that after 4 PMMA sessions you are risking excess fibrosis, etc partly from the repetition of the physical trauma that occurs from jamming a cannula up and down the shaft. Maybe injections are less traumatic, but I still have to think that this might cause some trauma over time if repeated every couple years or so. Just something to think about - however I could be completely wrong about this. Personally, I\'m opting for PMMA but hoping for as few sessions as possible to avoid this excess physical \'trauma\' from multiple procedures on my very sensitive unit. While it\'s nice that these are outpatient procedures rather than full blown surgeries, that still does not mean that they have no adverse physical effect on the penis if done many times over a lifetime.

Hi SmallJay,I am not Korean I just spoke with the Doc in English slowly and gave him enough time to respond. He is a very friendly man I must say as he gave me 38 min of his time in a polite and professional manner. I understand the need to find a Korean speaker in the forum as Korean website are a mess and often not compatible with Google Translate. They somehow like to use flash scripts on their website rather than plain text making it difficult to translate and copy the text.I mentioned to the Dr that I would like to research about this product but that it is difficult due to the language barrier. He assured me that the product is very popular in Korea. I take your point that the repetitive sessions of temporary injections have an impact on the penis health, but for me I dont like the idea of ireversibility of PMMA. I am a risk averse person and want to go with the least risky option on the table although the future consequences are not well known for all the fillers. I rather go for 3-4 sessions of a temporary filler and get a decent size penis for around 10 years than a 3-4 round permanent sessions. Also don\'t forget that, interest in sex and focus on penis size goes down as you grow older. I dont want be 60 with tons of PMMA in my penis where I dont have any use for it. Thanks for your inputs.

Zuidex isn\'t available in the UK anymore as it was taken off the market. In this British study the granuloma rate was 14%.

I\'d be very wary of Dextran with this in mind.

I\'m trying to find studies on products like Reviderm and Matridex, but there really isn\'t much.

thx H10..so I guess you would advise againsst temporary fillers? Do you think Radiense is worth checking out..I mean as mentioned before if you can also get FBG iwth temporary fillers, does this mean they as hard to treat as PMMA, or would they go as the filler disapears??

Korean phalloplasty 12 years 6 months ago #1281084418

From what I\'ve read FBG are as hard to treat with temp fillers. I had previously assumed they disappeared when the filler absorbs, but I\'ve since read of people requiring surgery years after injection.

I don\'t advise against temporary fillers, I just haven\'t found one that seems reliable in this application yet. Radiesse has pretty much the same mechanism as PMMA, from what I have seen, but it\'s very expensive and I\'m not sure the effect would last that long. I think Yao said he was told it starts to diminish after 4 months.

ok well in that case from the study showing 14% of FBG with dextra..you then one could ASSUME with the data to date, (based on limted info on this forum) PMMA is prob safer..however long term effects are unknown...I did read that website about complications withb patients who had PMMA in penis in Brazil and it seems they all went to the same doctor, hence the tecnique most def plays a role in future problems, however I still think that it hugley depends how ones body reacts to it short and long term. Yes product and technique play a role in mimimising these effects, however its irrelavent to some degree in my view as everyone autoimmune system will react differently. I have also spoken with a PS in my country who has used PMMA before (not many where im from & not in the penis) and has treated FBG prior. I cant exacltey rememeber the outcome but ill ask again. he did mention though that with his knowedlge they were rare his advise was that it doesnt matter and always plan and be dillegent for post care and costs associated. Knowing that I can go to him as im so far away also provides a little bit of extra comfort should it be required. All in all to me, I think in the majority of cases left alone the body should eventually adapt..but then again in cases seen, it may not...
