as i stated i didnt say he is a douche bag for increasing it... i get why as a business man he did it but thats all he is was my point....not some guy out to actually help people with problems as in a cause or charity....dudes just another doc out for pure profit and that is evident in the price increases UNLESS they were related to costs from manufactures going up in price to him

as far as me being cheap i am dam proud of it cause i work my ass off for my money and how do you think the rich get rich? by spending it or giving it all way...most are cheap lol

and my convo would prob with that way on the phone with them cause business is all about sales and negotiating and if they hang up on you during a negotiation then they shouldnt be in the business of selling something ... just no no no and move on rather then hang up if they cant reduce the price

and if a person came into the bank and said to give them rates half the amount of market i would look at there compensating factors and collateral income, assests, and debt to justify it and show them why rather then just tell them some bs story or hang up on them without a viable reason as to why i can or cant. btw i gave a 2.25% on a 30 year fixed conventional loan with ZERO closing costs and points to a recent customer and many others were in the 2.75% rate...those of you who are homeowners might have those rates on your home loan and those of you who have higher would prob for that rate <3

as far as tipping -_- if you suck you still get 10% for bring out the food and drinks ....still kinda stupid if you ask me to give anything if you suck that bad lol...generally i do 20% and if its badass service 30 to 40

as i said i never said he was wrong or that he cant do it...simply that i used to think of this guy as a savior and humanitarian for people with mental issues about there penis and what not and now i see him as just another doc doing a surgery for money

I do not think that anyone ever presented Dr. C as a humanitarian. Although, he is certainly caring and concerned for his patients.
A savior? Well, I guess that depends on your perspective.

And just out of curiosity, was this 2.25% rate when rates were hovering around 3.25% or now when they are around 4.25%?
If it was during the 3.25% time, this person got a rate at 69% of the going market rate.
Likewise, if you say you will go for 3 rounds ($5,500) and compare it with another option at $8,000 you have the same savings.
However, if you only go for one or two rounds, the savings are much more substantial.

it was now as in last month

and i never said that he claimed to be a humanitarian i said MY VIEW of him was was that since he seemed to genuine and he never seemed like he was in it for the money but rather to just help as much as he could...i just looked at him as that way cause i saw what he was doing for so many and building them back up as in self esteem

so just my view of him has changed a bit....prices can be whatever they want and they can go up even more....its fine tbh

i don\'t have much to say on this subject but i do agree that I too was a little sour when I found out that he spiked up the price. I think if he decreased the price he would make even more money off volume alone.

I would have to disagree with you, New1inch. There are only so many of these he can perform on a given day.

If he only has availability for 6 (just an example) procedures (including the other parts of his practice) but has 10 that want to see him, he has a surplus of patients.
If he drops the price, he still has time to see the same number of people, but now he has a higher surplus of patients, generating a lower income.
If he raises the price and drops his demand by 20%, he still has the same time, same 6 patients, but these generate a higher income (and still has a slight surplus)

We have to keep in mind that this is not the one and only part of his practice. He has many patients that come to him for other services not even remotely related to penile enhancement.

If that were the case then people wouldn\'t already have to book weeks in advance. There are only so many hours in the day at it seems that Dr C is working all of them already. There have been quite a few posts about Dr C staying late to see people.

One of the things that has concerned me in the past is that it\'s has been mentioned that Dr C has been tired and I\'m sure one member said he had to stop for a break mid procedure, as he was so tired.

Here we have a WIN-WIN situation (successful and profitable PMMA surgery with Dr. C and patient\'s satisfaction) in regards to one of the most controversial medical procedures (PE) and \"SOME\" people are complaining about a business practice, price increase.

Surgical PE has had perhaps the worst success record so far, and this PMMA procedure with Dr. C has had the best outcomes, while I understand it, there is a debate about the high price increase.

I really think Dr. C is a very caring person (also Nurse Wade and the staff) but that does not mean he will not practice sound business and selfish actions to make more money, heck we all will do that given the opportunity...

I think some of us here need to accept the fact that Dr C is a good guy and he makes a profit doing his business.

Yea but lets face it he dont have a high a demand for the other procedures. most of his patient are for penile enhancement. there might be a few a very few for other procedures.

What makes you say he does not have a demand for other procedures?
If, according to some, this site is responsible for his high demand for penis enlargement, then what did he do before this board got to where it is now? Yep, his other services.

ofc course he had other services but not to the demand that PMMA has

and again i love the fact some of you bash us for having our own opinion or one that is not the same as you just cause we visit the same forum or even because we have had the same surgery done or w/e.

so I cant think or say I feel his price increase was to drastic? I have to follow what every other forum member who loves him thinks?

i am not complaining but rather stating my opinion on his business practices and the fact i dont agree with them in full. I agree a price increase based on certain factors is fine but if your doing it purely because you see easy way or taking advantage of the situation when desperate people are willing to pay then I PERSONALLY think that is not morally or ethically wrong. I have never stated he wasnt allowed to do it or that its not a business thing.

And I def feel some of the price increased is due to his costs going up but I also see the other part which is a huge price increase being put because he saw desperate guys who would pay almost anything so he saw that he could take advantage of the situation and he did and that is def reflected in the huge price increase.

3 rds now costs 5500 and you can get other procedures for Girth in the US for 6k now and god forbid something happen down the line because at least in the US we can sue for malpractice. Can we do anything to him in TJ.

Even if you dont get the case won like some people did against Dr Elitist at least they could try but in TJ they cant. Who knows what PMMA will do in 10 years, who knows anything period as of yet.

All i am saying is stop complaining that any of us who are complaining and who think a diff opinion on his price increase then you because thats how we feel and only our opinions .... he can do w/e he wants. I am sure that price increase has already lost him alot of business due to the fact not all can afford 5500 and to get only 1 or 2 rounds might not work for some people

chill out if someone doesnt agree with you or says something they feel about your savior that you dont agree with dont just sit there and tell them there wrong

completley agree with you on what you said but at the same time but why cant we disagree with price or state that its to large in a increase and also I can def see its all about money. we have accepted the fact of the increase but doesnt mean we have to like it or agree with it and we def can voice it

thats all i beleive some of us are saying

[/QUOTE]

But this is what he was known for! When PMMA first came along and many of our members were researching it, Dr C continually came up as one of, if not the, most renowned PMMA Dr in the world. One of the main resources for research we HIV forums and they are full of posts about Dr C\'s work. All that has changed is due to PhalloBoards he\'s now getting loads of penis enlargement patients.

I think you just want to moan for the sake of it. You\'ve been told that the price of PMMA has risen and that he now uses about twice as much per procedure. So given that, why are you still complaining? If you read makemeheal there are a couple of guys who had PE with Dr C before PhalloBoards and they both had 10cc per round. Our first pioneer, GSX, received 12cc. Yet thesedays it\'s rare that guys get under 20cc. Surely you can see that he\'s using double the amount, so why shouldn\'t he charge more? Also, I\'ve pointed out he\'s still cheaper than the other 2 PMMA Dr\'s we regularly discuss.

There is one price related issue that I think is worth discussing though and that is second round \"touch up\" procedures. I don\'t think it\'s acceptable that corrective procedures have a limited amount of CC\'s (5 I believe). Personally I think this is totally wrong and something Dr C should change, without raising the price. If a guy wants more size then of course he should pay for whole second round. However, it all the patient wants is to correct issues from the first procedure, then that patient should receive as many CCs as needed to get the best result Dr C possibly can. Every now and again we see patients being told that Dr C has suggested a full second round in order to totally correct their issues. I really think this has to change. If they aren\'t requesting more size, then, in my opinion, Dr C should be obligated to fix the problems for the \"touch up\" price.

I think it is 10 CC for a touch up and anything above that is a full session....I think!

PMMA Pricing Conversation 12 years 8 months ago #1280347181

funny you said that cause i was just about to say what about the guys who start off with less ccs then the guys who get more...price is the same

also yes he was known for PMMA well before the site but he was primarily known for PMMA in other parts of the body was he not? it wasnt in the Dick mainly

again doesnt really matter what you think or say i still dont agree with the price increase that was made. And i will state yet again cause it seems some of you have blinders on but i am disagreeing with how high it went overnight rather then a gradual one and i doubt the increase in his costs was that significant or he prob wouldnt be in the business of doing this if there was no profit.

and thanks for telling me my opinion is a complaint again....much appreciated....if you want me to just agree with you and be a worker bee with no mind of my own just say so please lol...will save me alot of thinking and free thought of my own

first round back in day was 1500 i beleive and now its 2500... gradual might have been 2000 or one of the rounds being increased enough to make up the diff in the new higher costs yet all 3 were increased and it doesnt matter what is injected its all the same price so yea ...makes sense lol

Complaining that a price increase was too drastic is your own opinion and no one is bashing you for it. But when you insinuate that somehow the doctor is unethical for allowing supply & demand to dictate his pricing for an elective procedure that isn\'t actually \"medically-necessary\" just makes you look...well cheap. Oh yea, this is something you\'ve admitted to, so it doubles the perceived bashing.

I personally loathe the proudly cheap. There is a difference between being frugal, and being dirt cheap. Being frugal tends to mean someone has a tight budget/income OR possesses wealth but lives a financially conservative lifestyle (both make sense). Being cheap, on the other hand, is typically having money but cutting corners in all the wrong places (e.g. poor tipping), making outrageous price negotiations (I used to work in retail, your counter-offer shouldn\'t be less than what I paid to buy the product at wholesale), complaining about price increases despite the price itself still being relatively less than all its competitors, etc. That kind of mentality, in my opinion, is incredibly distasteful. If your arguments weren\'t so infused with this cheap sense of entitlement, it might make more sense. But even if you weren\'t admittedly cheap, your opinion still seems to offer no explanation as to why the doctor\'s price increase, which still stays relatively \"cheaper\" than the competition, is \"too drastic.\" If anything, couldn\'t you make the argument that the doctor was selling the shirt off his back by pricing his method so low at the original $1500 when virtually all his competitors (PMMA or Surgical PE) were charging arms & legs more and getting away with it?? (I\'m not personally making the argument, just playing devil\'s advocate)

And just so it isn\'t mistaken, I myself like anyone else was not thrilled about the price increase. But I saw it as a fair business decision considering the nature & pricing of the phallo-market. Making an issue about the price increase more than simply stating \"you don\'t like it\" just makes you sound cheap. So it\'s that simple. \"I, Spankass, don\'t like this price increase.\" If the price increase is too drastic, find someone else to give you a penis enlargement procedure...oh wait, you\'re telling me that Dr. C still offers the best value available today for Girth enhancement in the known Western Hemisphere? Well shit, you\'ll just have to wait till the market demand creates more avenues of Girth enhancement at better a pricing, and you will have to hope that doctor is reputable and legitimate. Good luck!
