TOPIC: Consolidation of case against the Elist implant

As a former implantee, I can tell you that it is absolutely obvious to anybody who\'s been on these forums for the past few years what the consensus is for the Elist implant. As may be the case for other former implantees, I am concerned for potential implantees. While they have a lot of information to go off of, it\'s all dispersed in various threads with lots of mixed information (some of which has been offered by people who were NOT former implantees).

What I am proposing is that we have a sticky thread consisting only of posts by former implantees in a visible area so that no future implantee can miss it. The moderators can verify whether the author has had the implant or not, and take actions accordingly. I\'d recommend Messageman to be the official author since he carries so much weight here (I\'d volunteer my services as well), and the theme of the thread can simply be \"Former Implantees of Dr. Elist: Why Not to get his Silicon Implant\"

What do you guys think?

I will start a thread for this, and invite all implantees (former or current) to chime in. If the Moderators want to make it sticky, they can do so. I think it\'s important enough to be sticky. If there are any moderators who disagree, please speak up.

Sorry, I was actually waiting on others (most specifically, former Elist patients) to chime in, but I should say that a thread discussing the nuances, risks, problems, and actual results from the implant ought to be discussed at length in a central thread so that members don\'t have to search up and down (on both the new and old forum) to get legit info. I\'d also like to nominate MM as the lead Moderator on the thread, for both quality control of its contents, as well as its conformity to forum rules - should he so choose to accept.

If you\'d like to start the thread, feel free to, just be sure to give it some sort of format, and remember, forum rules should always be adhered to. I mention this specifically because I know the implant can incite emotional reactions, some of which may step beyond the bounds (understandably so, but I must ensure that the forum rules are enforced regardless of the topic).

MM, feel free to chime in here or in the new thread should Bostonman compose it.

Sorry I missed this thread! As a fellow Elist survivor/recouperator I am all for a sticky being placed. As Messageman has said in previous threads, if we can deter even one victim from falling into the trap it\'ll all be worth it.

Now I see why my previous post needed to be deleted! Hah, sorry fellas!

I would like all the men who have been maimed by dr elist to get together and file a class action law suit against him. How can we do this?
