TOPIC: Gas lamp district hotels

Hi everyone,

Avanti Derma recommend staying in the Gas Lamp district as we all know, although i\'m struggling to find something of good value, as I\'m staying for 6 days toward the end of this month.

Any recommendations?something under $150 would be good, but i don\'t like my chances.

Sure! I\'m all set with Dr. C. on Thursday the 21st... Grand Hotel Thursday night... and back to something cheap for Friday night... Ahhh... that\'s what it was... spring break... that\'s why my plane ticket was $900 from Florida to San Diego... Last time I paid right at $400 (round trip)... ugggggg

haha, I looked at the Days Inn chain and I know what you\'re saying,I really don\'t want to be stuck in dumpy depressing motel with \'spring break\' college kids next door, while I\'m massaging a sore swollen Dick,especially for my first round.I went with the \'Four Points by Sheraton downtown\' its a mile north of the gaslamp quarter, so i\'m hoping its fairly peaceful..mind you with Spring Break I paid 200$ per night plus tax for a 3 star for 3 nights..im staying a total of 6 nights, so i\'m thinking i\'ll head somewhere cheaper near the beach for the final nights im there...all the rest were even more expensive around the gaslamp district, unless you went with the Days inn or Americas best value Inn...no thanks!I\'m curious about next time staying at the Grand Hotel next to Dr.C\'s office Baywoof, just wasn\'t sure what it would be like..

The Grand Hotel in the twin tower next to Dr. C\'s office was $70. I liked it. Back in San Diego the motel 6 next to the airport... I swear plane wheels were touching the roof until nearly 2 am. I black listed it. I\'ll be back in Tijuana 3.26. I think.

Wherever you go, dont go to the Days Inn Bayview.....

I went to travelocity and booked flight with Hotel so I am not sure what the nightly rate was, but I stayed at Hotel Indigo both times. It was very nice and I will be going back there for round 3.

Yeah must be the timing. I think I paid less than $100 per night. And there was a VERY nice speakeasy style bar across the street.

Thanks Carl! I looked at them, but they are over $1500 for 5 days..everythings sold out and expensive,as I didn\'t realise its spring break..I will find something just going to have to fork out the big $$

I stayed at comfort inn. Nothing fancy at all but cheap, clean and in a great location.

Yeah i wish I was smart enough to realise how much more expensive things would have been and I would\'ve booked the week after!I\'ll be there the day before you guys!haha.
